Coming to the restaurant that Friday evening I couldn’t have been more pleased with life. That morning I had been appointed executive vice-president of the company. While my wife couldn’t join me this evening she was recuperating very well from her heart attack. My oldest son had started a promising Wall Street career and my younger son achieved excellent results at law school. Not that I ever really had had that much contact with my sons but they were both coming home for the week-end to celebrate. While I was huffed by my promotion I hoped that the dinner wouldn’t end too late.

Ambrose grabbed the wrong costume by accident. But was it really the wrong one?

On the surface, Michael Gorman is a very religious and studious man. But the chubby little man isn't very happy. He works for a church as a pastor, but feels underappreciated. He is invited to a very strange job interview with a corporate recruiter named Gary Nichols. Quickly, he discovers that Gary has a powerful necklace called a cryx that can transform the balding man into a beautiful woman. He says Michael can do it too. Will he take the job? How will this work with home life and work life?

Jimmy Warren trudged down the street with his hands forlornly thrust into his pockets. The eighth grader was lost in his muddled thoughts of only seven months more of middle school hell. Then there would be four years of high school hell. Maybe, if he survived, college would at least be tolerable. The chill week before Halloween wind whipped and swirled the brown dead leaves willi-nilli across the sidewalks and streets. As usual the backpack he carried was filled with books and weighed nearly half his scrawny seventy five pound weight. The added weight hunched his undersized four feet eight inch frame forward making it look like he was fighting hurricane force winds rather then normal fall zephers.

Kyle was deeply dreaming of being with Lucy, the love of his life. They were in a field full of daisies. He was holding her in his arms, and enjoying the feel of her there. He felt so protective.

Suddenly a strange voice called to him. “Come with me Kyle you are needed to be a witness at a trial.” As he heard this voice a strange robed figure approached him, beckoning him to come with her.

Author's foreword: This is not going to be an easy or comforting story for me to write. Sara's Story exhausted me, mentally and emotionally.
