I started this over a year ago, and I need some encouragement if it is going to go anywhere.

So this is a warning: These three chapters is all I've written, and I can't promise regular updates, 'though the more favorable comments I receive, the more apt I am to write more.

The North American Federation is a place where the government has just enough authority to prevent anyone else from setting one up, and all sentients within its borders have the right to become citizens, and is inspired by L. Neil Smith's work.

Pansy settles in with her newborn daughter at Los Ocotes, the finca of Susana and her husband, and adapts well, if unwillingly, to working as Suzi's maid. But will she find a way to escape when the month is over, and she is allowed to go her own way?

CHAPTER 10

As we approached the alien ship, I got cold chills. This thing was as strange as could be. I hated to think what the ones who built this craft looked like. We were guided into the ship and docked at a port. Karen turned to me.

“OK, follow my lead.”

Sounds of war can be heard in the distance. The airmen want to protect the villages, so the natives have to be told what will happen if the war comes to their island.

"Will you just look at that?" Jack murmured to the others. Melanie was walking towards them carrying baskets containing their lunch, her body swaying with a natural rhythm that made the men's pulses quicken. "Can you believe, just a few months ago, she was Paul? I see it every day, but my brain still finds it amazing."

"It's a miracle, that's what it is," Les opined. "If she was a Catholic, she'd be in line for sainthood, that's for certain."

"Well, no," Doc said. "The saint would be the one who changed Paul into Melanie, not Melanie herself. But I agree, she's a good mover, isn't she, for someone who was a bloke when we landed."

“Will you be giving me a ring tomorrow, Chuck?” Gary asked as he got ready to leave the pub. “I got nothing scheduled at all for tomorrow.”

“Forget about her, Chuck. There’s plenty of Sheilas here in Alice who would give their left arm to be your wife.”

Synopsis: Swan Song seems to be going forward using Ripley’s revised plan. Chuck is having second thoughts about his wife, and running into problems on his own, but his actions have thus far prevented Hiromi’s letter of apology and explanation from reaching him. In the meantime, Gabrielle has volunteered to go through the Double Helix process and take Chuck’s place as Hiromi’s husband, with the general consensus being that she would be more reliable than Chuck if the situation deteriorated, but some provision would have to be made for outside support as well.

“Your hair isn’t perfect, but then you are going to see a judge not do a photo shoot so a few imperfections are permitted. Be certain you have your male ID with you. I'm so proud of you, Schatzi”

I woke up, sore…and mystified and still kind of upset. I felt, good, really good this itch scratched somewhere deep inside. I felt satisfied in a way that I’ve never known. It took me a few minutes to really get the willpower to move and tried to do it quietly so not to wake Dom.

The air is so beautiful up here in the sky above Highwood. We bank and we soar and over the massive canal like sea. We pass by air-ships and over regular boats and ships and fly out of that canal over this cliff-side down to beach like city only about seven our eight miles from the palace and the whole canal opens up into this wide open sea.

Vampyre 2

Okay…it’s bee the most stressful week that I’ve had in a long time. The TG Witch knew me and she hasn’t really laid off of trying to find me. I think I might have wronged her in a past life or something.

I’m a Vampire, a real unlife blood dependent vampire so yes please trust me reincarnation is possible. Well for most people, I’ve got no idea really of what really happens when I eventually get ashed.
