Exiled from her home and forced to flee to the furthest reaches of civilized space, Aviina has made a simple life for herself on Amalgam station. There she tries to make her living as a problem solver, working on the colossal galactic ‘Net’. However, she holds within herself a terrible secret. One that will put the denizens of Amalgam station into peril.

Interview with a rager

The security officer unlocked and opened the heavy door to the isolation cell. Inside there was a person, curled up on in the corner on the far side. There was nothing else in the room, no chair, no bed, no toilet.

“Get up you dammed heathen, Mrs. Carson is here to talk at you,” the guard barked, walking over and using the end of his nightstick to punch the prisoner in the kidney. When he didn’t move, the guard drew the baton back to deliver a full power blow. He turned his head when he was prevented from completing the swing.

I wrote this over ten years ago. It was essentially finished, but I somehow never considered it ready for posting. Or, at least, it had gone as far as I was inspired to take it. It kinda begs for a sequel, but it's fine as it is.

Much thanks to Terry Volkirch for test reading it way back when. She might even remember the story.

One fine day, Joe wakes up and finds that his whole life has been turned upside-down.

There is some violence in this installment. It is brief, off-stage, and resolves well.

I had a really strange dream last night. The strangest part is that I remember it so clearly. Dreams normally fade very soon after we wake up, but this one stayed with me.

This story very briefly uses the characters Katie, Liam, Pat, Brendan, Niall and Jimmy from my story Some Gave All which I posted here last summer: https://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/69181/some-gave-all

This story is related to that one, as it tells about things that happened at the orphanage after those six kids ran away in May of 2006.

Most of the story is told from one boy's viewpoint, i. e., memories of what happened to himself and some other boys there.

Alright. Longtime reader, first time poster. I think I started tuning in around the end of the Bush (the lesser) years. Here's the beginning of a pretty basic story that I think could be fun.

Chapter Six: Control Top

Cassie take's on her first job for the Cartel smuggling guns, drugs and women across the Mexico/US border. She enlists the aid of another OMC and is attracted to their Sargent at Arms which may cloud her judgement when the plan goes awry,

Cassie needs to commit a felony before the Beasts of Burden will admit her into the club as a full patch member. Her FBI handler provides her with the perfect crime to commit.

Chapter 1 New British Prime Mininster's POV

While we were waiting for everyone to arrive for our first proper cabinet meeting I sat down and tried to practice my approachable relaxed posture.

“Sir.”

“You can still call me David, Carmine.”

“OK, David, how was the visit with the Queen?”

“Interesting. She all but admitted that she had asked my predecessor to resign, but had no desire to interfere again. She did bring up something else that we have to wait until everybody is here to discuss.”

The back story to how Cameron Rivers was caught dressed as Cassie by members of his club and how Cassie became their slave. Dale Clifford is the only member of the club that shows Cassie any compassion.

In a Medieval fantasy world, a war is conducted on a magical chess field instead of on the battlefield. Young Joshua is drafted to become a pawn in a deadly game. His only hope is to reach the end of the field and fulfill a prophecy that will save himself and his comrades. However, things are not as they seem as Joshua experiences a shocking transformation.

Kozuke gently runs the washcloth through the basin of scented soapy water, and begins to gently sponge the sweat off of her body. For some reason, she is always very sweaty in the morning. He suspects her dreams aren’t pleasant.
