One of the Girls - Chapter 5

One of the Girls -Chapter 5

As we walked through to the bar and lounge area to join the rest of the girls Rachel walked behind me and she smiled. ‘Oh Bro dear I’ve not noticed before that you have quite a wiggle when you walk and those leggings really show off your bum and your legs. I’m quite jealous’

‘Rach please don’t tease me and embarrass me. I’m trying my best.’
‘Well you’re doing a good job and you’d better watch it when we get to Leeds.’

‘Why, you don’t mean I’ll attract boys do you?’

The Gurl & the Secret Recipe

Did anybody see this film on You Tube. I can't access it and I thought the gurl/boy who played the part of brother and sister was so convincing. I also liked the girl who played one of 'her' protectors. But I've no idea about when this was made and for what audiences. Maybe someone can give me a link that is not through You Tube please.

One of the Girls - Chapter 4

One of the Girls -Chapter 4

As I dried myself off, but having to keep on my knickers, I found a quiet spot to try to get some privacy away from the frivolity and the banter that was going on between the girls. It wasn’t easy to avoid them since they were running around by now armed with wet towels that they were using to flick each other. It was amazing to see so much nudity and none of the girls had any shyness or concerns about showing everything in front of me.

One of the Girls Chapter 3

As we walked along the line shaking hands she was the last one and so was I apart from Kaz who was talking to their coach a few yards behind. I wasn’t too happy about shaking hands since she’d clattered me several times but at least I had the satisfaction that it cost them the game.

I couldn’t ignore her whatever she’d done and afterall this is England the home of sportsmanship and fair play. So much for that opinion!

[Sorry to cause any confusion but this is real hockey in England played by girls in short skirts with no padding. — except for the oranges used by Little Bo.]
Back to the story.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Rachel looked across at me as I ran on to the field of play and my presence seemed to give her a boost. She called for a huddle and a pep talk as soon as play stopped for an injury to one of the opponents.

I'm finally there!!!

Help!!! I just read about the top three worst female health habits and that’s me!!!
1. Wearing high heels
2. Carrying a heavy handbag
3. Sleeping in make-up
Could I finally have crossed over? OMG let’s hope so.
Who cares about 4. Matching men for drinking? Maybe No5. I should worry about that is wearing the wrong bra size. [Surely I’m bigger than 38C.
Nobody is interested in 6. Harboring regrets but 7 could be a concern that is being obsessive about my appearance. No 8 No emotional eating for me. Too many pounds to lose!!

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 9

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 9
By Julie D Cole

For several minutes I just tried to catch my breath. I’d never experienced anything like this in all my life. I wanted to pinch myself in case I was dreaming. Jacs just lay beside me leaning on her elbow playing with my hair. She removed the band holding it into a pony-tail and used her fingers as a comb to bring it forward over my ears.

‘Sorry that I got you excited so quickly but let’s see if you are ready again soon. Would you like to clean up a little bit and maybe we can come back to bed soft and refreshed?’

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 8

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 8
By Julie D Cole

Jac’s gently unclipped my bra as she kissed me and soon her warm hands cupped by breasts. How strange that I was in bed for the first time with a girl and the girl was actually playing with my breasts.

Jac’s turned on her side and moved me over so I was laying on my back and she continued to stroke me.

‘Sammy did you know that when it comes to breast or nipple fondling, women have two major complaints so I’m going to teach you how it feels to enjoy the experience.’

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 7

Jacqui and Me Chapter 7
By Julie D Cole

We didn’t get much chance to follow up after that since the food started to arrive and soon everybody was eating and laughing and joking. It was strange to be in the company of girls like this and to be treated as one of them. I was beginning to like it and Jac’s was paying close attention to me and ensuring I tried everything as it circled the table. What on earth did she see in me?

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 5
By Julie D Cole
We went under the water and I must have swallowed a bucket full. I was fighting for air as she held me up and I was trying to hit her on the chest. She was just laughing at me for being frightened and then she held me up so I didn’t sink again and just put her hand to my lower tummy, well my crutch really and whispered in my ear.
‘Sorry Sam I hope you didn’t have another accident.’

Chapter 2

By Julie D Cole

thO3D411T9_0.jpg…………………………………………………………………………………………..
We chatted for half an hour or so and she asked what I was writing and where she might buy one of my books. I was quite flattered so I gave her a signed copy of my first book ‘ All about women’ that received some publicity and some tributes but didn’t really take off. She promised to read it and give me her opinions. I’d really written it from a male perspective so I wondered what she might think.

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 4
By Julie D Cole

I suppose we sat there for about an hour before Patsy complained that she was cold and that we ought to go inside for a sauna. ‘Coming Sammy?’
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
I thought about the complications and the possible implications as tempting as it sounded.

‘I’m not sure really. I can’t.’

‘Why ever not we know all about you now and it’s not as if you’ve got anything to hide. Why not make up for the lost years of girlhood and chill out with us in the sauna or the jaccuzi?’

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 3
By Julie D Cole

In truth I did wear lip protector in the cold weather so it wasn’t exactly difficult.
As I stepped out of the car Jacqui introduced me to some of the gang. ‘This is my close friend Sammy. I hope you don’t mind me bringing her along.’
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
She turned and looked at my face that must have been dumb struck. She was laughing.

It was still raining heavily as Jacqui stopped he car at the bottom of our driveway. At least from here I could run to the front door without risk of being totally drenched. No lights on so mum was already in bed and sis was away from home on a college trip and it was only 10-30pm.

The Woman I Am

The Woman I am

The story behind the poem The Girl Inside

.....................

I stood in front of the large full length mirror that my wife had often used to check herself out as she dressed for special occasions. The reflection gave me gave me quite a fright since I hadn’t taken much interest in myself for quite a while as my wife and I had seemed to disagree about most things and argued a lot.

The Girl Inside

The Girl Inside
By Julie D Cole

As I looked into the mirror it gave me quite a fright,
I’m getting old, an aging man and it’s not a pretty sight.
My hair is limp my face is drawn and as I took a look down there,
Where’s it gone, it’s hard to say, with all this body hair.

I stood and stared for ages, not a pretty sight at all,
Reflecting on my life so far, then at a picture on the wall,
A woman in her prime of life, her beauty plain to see,
A picture taken years ago, Mmm was that really me?

‘But I’m a man, I’m a man, I’m a man but I feel like a woman.Oh I really feel like a woman today.’
‘OMG what to do?’
…………………………………………………………………………………………………..…………………….
Before I had chance to decide the phone was ringing so I had no choice but to answer. It was Helen.

‘Hi sweetheart. Do you miss me?’

‘Oh. Hi Helen. Where are you?’

We both laughed together because I didn’t mean what I said I meant I’d like the trip to the salon.’

So Fran left me to decide for myself where to start and she went into the den to make appointments at the hair salon.

‘What will Helen think when she wakes up. She is going away for a few days so I won’t have chance to explain that this was all a mistake. Oh Helen what have you done to me? Why?
…………………………
I must have fallen into a deep sleep after that because I never stirred until the sun was shining through the window. I’d no idea of the time and I reached for Helen but she had already got up.

A Change in Lifestyle chapter 9

a short Chapter.....the change begins...

A Change in Lifestyle
Chapter 9

For a few moments I was stunned. Something inside me wanted this experience but at the same time I felt that I shouldn’t. I was feeling mixed up inside and any tingling sensation in my groin was now gone.

I couldn’t let Helen make love to me. That’s supposed to be my responsibility.

‘Helen this is wrong. I can’t. Please I can’t.’

She whispered to me. ‘Come on Robyn you don’t need to be frightened. I won’t hurt you.’

I’d never seen Helen like this before.

A Change in Lifestyle chapter 8

A Change in Lifestyle
Chapter 8

I looked at myself in the full length mirror standing with tear filled eyes. Mascara runs on my face and hair still styled in a pony tail and so I took out the hair band to let my hair fall. I brushed it out again with a centre parting and looking at it I decided that I would let Fran shape and style it. I wanted to see if the girl that i could now see in the mirror could go one step further to look even more convincing.

A Change in Lifestyle chapter 7

A Change in Lifestyle
Chapter 7

I leaned forward as much as I could to watch the car disappear and Helen go through the front door.
OMG should I go home and face her or let her worry about me?
………………..
I waited for a while not knowing what to do. I liked to feel appreciated by Fran and I liked the day I’d had and I wanted to feel like this again. Maybe again and again I don’t know. Yes I do. I like it!!

A Change in Lifestyle chapter 5

A Change in Lifestyle
Chapter 5

I couldn’t hide and I just stammered ‘Yes Miss’ in reply. She sat on the seat opposite scrutinizing me. I don’t know why I was so bothered since I’d left school years ago.

It seemed like yesterday and she spoke to me as if I was still in her class.

‘Robyn, what has happened to you? You are such a good looking boy so what have you done to yourself? Are you trying to look like a girl?’

What could I say. I was like a rabbit trapped in a car headlights. I couldn’t speak for a minute or so that felt like an hour.

A Change in Lifestyle chapter 4

A Change in Lifestyle
Chapter 4

Was it a deal?

I thought about it for a few seconds and I wondered what Helen might say. But she’d annoyed me so much that I didn’t really care.

‘OK if you need my help then I’m happy to come around but no word to Helen about this please. I’ll have to fit it into my part time job though.’

Fran said she’d match the hourly rate if I’d help her for at least 2 or 3 hours a day and maybe I could give up the job. That made me think a bit but I still wasn’t sure.

A Change in Lifestyle
Chapter 3

It was our next door neighbor Francesca looking over the fence and holding her young daughter who was crying.

‘Robyn is that you?’ I stopped to look up and immediately thought how stupid I was to assume nobody would see me.

‘Robyn can you help me please I’m at the end of my tether.’ She seemed to ignore how I was dressed and the fact that I was wearing some make-up. She was obviously very close to tears.

Make My Day

Make My Day

by Julie D Cole

When someone says ‘I hate you’ it often brings a tear,
Especially when the words are from the ones we hold most dear,
Hate is rarely ever meant, but it’s like a bullet from a gun,
The shooter aims, the shot is loud and lots of pain will come,

But ‘Love’ is like an arrow that that flies from archers bow,
It often strikes without a sound, so the target doesn’t know,
So if you hear ‘I love you’ even though from far away
More tears will come, but the feelings good,

A Change in Lifestyle
Chapter 2
Well some of you my ask how come my name is Robyn and not Robin. Well at school I got teased a lot and also recently Helen has teased me a lot too. I have been living with this difficulty all through my school and working life and when I’ve applied for jobs on the internet the response mostly comes back as Ms Robyn Boyd-Cooper and even Helens bank sent me a bank card as Ms Robyn Boyd-Cooper. It seemed to amuse Helen a lot so she didn’t do anything about it.

As we gathered together in reception half an hour later I sat with Debbie. She whispered to me.‘Excuse me Julie. Are you and Jack together?’ Looking at my ring she said ‘He hasn’t secretly proposed has he?’ ‘Sarah says that Laura is worried to death.’

‘Sarah is crazy. I honestly never met Jack until yesterday. He helped me when I was in trouble.’
Debbie looked closely at me.

Laura looked at me and paused herself.

It must have been an hour at least before I fell to sleep. I found myself thinking about how much I’d enjoyed myself working with Jack and decided I’d stay and help him. Hopefully I’d meet his sister anyway and that might mean I could feel more safe.

Then he turned to me and said ‘Since I told you this is my sister Debbie and not some girlfriend how about you tell me a bit about this fiancé of yours?’
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
He took me back a bit and I must have looked surprised. So he followed up and asked how long I’d been engaged. I just said the first thing that came into my head and told him ‘ 3 months.’

Lucky me

I have been missing for a few weeks so for the friends I've made on this site who might have worried about me I am sorry.
I guess I've been very lucky to be able to take a break and meet some really nice people but I had no access to the internet most days.
I can't remember what life was like before the internet and the mobile telephone. This experience I just had has been a bit of a shock. I could even remember the telex and telephone boxes on the corner of the street when I reflected a bit.

His retort was ‘OK how about tomorrow evening? Are you available?’

I thought about it for a few minutes and just said let me think about it please and perhaps I can let you know in the morning after I know what I’m doing.

I must admit that I was tempted. I already liked Jack because he was kind and also he just accepted me and believed me. But did he realise that I wasn’t a woman or not. I had seen him looking at me a number of times with a searching expression.

The Children of 9/11

I read a nice article story this week in a UK Newspaper that I access on Line. The Daily Mail.
It was called the Children of 9/11 where the mothers who were pregnant lost their husbands or partners in the horrors of that day.
My hope is they all have happy lives and that they never forget the fathers they never met many of whom were in the wrong place at the wrong time and some who were called upon to save lives.

I suddenly realized I was helpless. I couldn’t run after him even if I wanted to in heels since I was only new to walking in them. In any case he’d probably be dangerous and I am no fighter.
I seemed to fre
eze for a while and people were moving in slow motions around me whilst I tried to bring my thoughts together. What should I do? At least I still had my suitcase. But what use was that since my new purse, wallet and my mobile phone were in the shoulder and even my make-up and my return ticket home.

Another Side of My Life

As the train pulled away from the platform I stepped into the carriage and looked for my reserved seat that I hoped was in a quiet position where I wasn’t too prominent. I’d deliberately booked a seat towards the end of the carriage because I wanted to be away from any onlookers who might notice the change that was about to occur.

I managed to stay awake for a while and it was nice to know Chrissy was close by and several times that night I felt her lightly squeezing my hand.

I don’t know how long Chrissy stayed that night but when I woke up I was in a private room that had windows and blinds. The nurse told me that Chrissy had gone and would come back later because my mother and her partner had arrived and since I was asleep they’d gone to have some breakfast.

I was sad because my feeling was that Chrissy had gone out of the way.

I remember looking up at the huge arrivals board and still 40 minutes before the flight was expected to arrive and then maybe another 30 minutes at least or even more if it was busy through passport control. So time for me to buy a gift or even to escape.

My tummy was full of butterflies and it was churning so much after a while that I seriously considered whether or not to make a run for it and go back to my apartment. I tried to stay calm and consider the best and worst scenarios.

The next thing I remember was seeing some strange faces around be and I could hear Jessica screaming. I just wanted to close my eyes and go to sleep. My head hurt.

I couldn’t focus properly to try to recognize the faces. There was a light and I seemed to be on a stretcher.

I heard some more voices and I tried to wake up but I couldn’t. I tried to see where I was and saw some medical people. It looked like a nurse lifting my arm and a doctor at the other side of me.

I’m Touching You

By Julie D Cole

To A special friend amongst us who I want to touch today. No names.

Because you gave me your support when I first joined this site,
I carried on,what joy I found — at last a chance to write,

I looked at lots of work you’ve done and the Kudos you have scored,
So many girls have read your words, like me they’re never bored,

Because you touched me many times, since you said that first hello,
I’m now touching you with my good luck — and I just thought you should know,

Whilst some of us get all the breaks and others, just a few,
I’m passing on what ones I can, but this special one's for you.
