Okay! I woulda posted earlier, but TopShelf wouldn't even load. Hrm. I dunno if it was down or just my ability to access it. The latest plan is this: when the story is all done, I'm gonna schedule a time to be on IRC for a total FTS Q&A -- no question about the series will be unanswered (as long as it's ASKED). I'd really like anyone that has questions about it to be there, as we're rapidly approaching the end. Scott Ramsey and Eric have theorized a lot -- but so have some others! Leah and Joanie escape death with Miki's help but are not sure how. A radio conversation with strange call signs leads to a rest stop and a revelation. Joanie and the MCO clash again. Leah is reunited, briefly, with her parents. A bumpy flight to Oahu leads to dinner, a night of drunken sex, surfing, TV, singing and shopping. I'm not saying who does what.

Andy Warhol said,"In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes." What if your 15 minutes came late in life, and fame decided to never let you go? Could you survive the circus your life would become?

        It was nearly eleven-thirty at night when Christina stumbled through the door of her apartment. Her legs burned after ascending the six long flights of stairs. She let her suitcases drop; her arms feeling dull and stretched. The humidity in the dark apartment was oppressive, the hot air encasing Christina's skin, causing every inch of her body to sweat. Feeling the energy seep out of her muscles, she dropped onto her hard bed. She kicked of her shoes and socks then shimmied out of her tight jeans. Christina leaned back and turned on the fan mounted in the window over her bed. It did little more than cycle the hot air, but that was better than nothing.

Joan makes a new friend. Jared becomes an integral part of everyone's future... The band just keeps getting better and better...

Tyra finds a way to forget about Ketrick — for the moment. A royal wedding. A close friend dies, but leaves a great gift behind. A old face leads a new investigation, as Tyra prepares for the greatest shock of her female life.

A TS talks to her ex-wife about the TS's husband.

"Come in. It's open!" I said when I heard the doorbell.

My ex-wife entered and walked over to where I was sitting on the couch. My feet were under me on the couch and I was just sitting there, bleary eyes.

"Hi, Roberta, thanks for coming."

"You've been crying, Alice," she said as she sat by me. "What's going on?"

"This is weird. John wants to be a woman."

"Oh, shit."

"Yes, he told me he is going to the doctor I use on Wednesday and will start to transition."

"How do you feel?"

My goal, by the way, is that when people get to the end of the story, they'll understand evrything by then, and won't have to be confused anymore -- honest! Hope you all enjoy!

Ketrick becomes a consort. Learning to be a lady. Merton emerges into a very new world. Ketrick makes a surprising admission. Will Ann's lack of imagination doom her to slavery?

Tyra faces the Lords and changes the valley's future. Lady Katrina makes a proposal. Ketrick returns as Tyra's consort. Merton's time as a man comes to a close.

        Christina got up early, long before the rest of the family and was already dressed and downstairs before the sun had come up. Deciding that she was going to be the first girl in the house to make wearing pants a habit, she had thrown on a pair of capri pants and a simple off the shoulder top. She went into the kitchen and put on an apron; the plan was to surprise her uncle with breakfast before he went to work. Christina had seen very little of Alek this visit, and she longed to spend some time with her uncle.

I see the plot unfolding! The temptation is going to be great to post more than one part per day, but I'll endeavour my hardiest to resist. Just a hint for one of the Pop Culture references... Detective Kerry Warner has a younger brother and an even younger sister. Okay, enjoy, folkses!
