Surprise! another Halloween themed story from me, seems my muse hates my guts or something. This is a series of another world of mine, something just a bit left of center from where we are. Standard disclaimers apply. This one is just a touch dark, and likely to get darker, but hopefully it'll be interesting enough.

*Before…

Ooooh ick.

I know surgery is gross and after surgery is gross but there’s red and there stains and there’s swelling and stitches and stuff. They’re checking all of that and the redress everything and I can’t help it as much as I’m grossed out and embarrassed I’m fascinated too.

It’s gone…like completely gone and everything else too.

It’s a lot to process right now but at the same time past the sort of shock to all of it is this little feeling of yay?

Of yes…finally.

The Special Ones. Vad's Story.

We come to the third part in the "Special Ones" Trilogy. Never guessed for one moment when I started my little story I would end up with my very own trilogy!

Vad's story, you probably are not going to be too surprised to find out, is about Vad. Through him we find out a little more of the back story of the Special Ones and we bring things to a conclusion, with a few bumps and a few hugs on the way of course.

I have tried to create three distinct stories, each with their own character and feel. But tied together with one common thread running through them. I hope it has worked? And you have/will enjoy the journey. :-)

Whilst a ride this morning was pretty much obligatory, I reckon that last night's exertions let me off from anything too strenuous. There's a nice little loop up to Clowne so I headed out up the S ixty towards Cuckney where I took the A616 towards Creswell. The road bobbles about a bit before dropping down the ‘Mad Mile' to the village; even at stupid o'clock in the morning they're doing their best to kill themselves with dodgy overtaking and too high speed. Some have clearly succeeded judging by the collection of mini shrines along the verge.

Halloween at the Old Infirmary

Estate Agent, Tim Dudley, went to the old Infirmary on Halloween hoping to sell it to a client, but the client quickly left and he was left to wander the building by himself. The old manuscript was in a hidden laboratory next to the mortuary. It proved to be compelling reading!

Author's Note: There is no explicit sex in this story, but it does tell of certain activities with dead bodies. But then, if you read Halloween stories, you should expect nothing less.

(Sniffle.) “But you didn’t choose me…I just showed up.”

“Can I choose you now?”

They’re staring at each other and she goes from crying to shaking and crying and nodding and then…. “Y..yes…” and she buries her face into daddy’s chest and starts to sob.

I’m crying too…everything he said is the stuff I’ve been talking about and I’m hugging myself until I feel Taylor come up behind me and he wraps me up in his arms and squeezes me tight and I lean back into it with a happy sigh.

“Thanks honey.”

This simply put means beer and sports. Football was his main sport. I could not even make the Pee-Wee team. This of course did not make him happy. Now I should say that I loved to help our mom in the kitchen. With our dad, any cooking or housework was woman’s work.

Why? That is a good question. It is the one thing that people who don’t understand ask when they find out about a persons TG tendencies. Most people who are not ‘T’ or who have never lived with or had a close relationship with someone who is ‘T’ are usually full of so many invalid preconceptions that we face a really uphill struggle to be accepted.

Terry was a good woman. Well, she thought she was. A lot of other people did as well. The aura she presented to the world was one of confidence and sophistication. Inside, well, it was very different.

The long dusty road to happiness.

When she had been young she understood how unforgiving this land that gave no second chances really was, yet now she sought one last chance at redemption.

As the wind howled across the broken expanse, rattling the bones of the dead and blasting the already dried out grass, she walked ever onwards through the stinking dust and the heat haze. Her red lips once beautiful to look at, now cracked and parched like the earth that had not seen rain in many decades. The soft skin around her painted nails had blistered from the uncaring assault of the burning earth beneath her feet. Lurching onwards almost like a ghostly mirage in the heat on the dust bowl, her skin burnt from the sun and the wind, from the agony of life around her. She knew she had to push onwards for behind her lay only shame.
