By the way, for those who have a problem with long stories, and would like to stop reading from time to time yet be able to come back to the story later, I've put in "bookmarks." That is to say, the breaks in the text marked by "- - - - -" are also used as "bookmarkers." A text break has a bookmark number. That means, if the reader wants to stop, she can just note the number of the nearest bookmark so she would know where she stopped and can go back to it later. (She can use the "find" function of her browser to locate the bookmark)
Hope that helps. Thanks, and I hope you like the completed story!

Thank you so much!
Considering you probably do not get much sleep with the new one around, I am amazed you found time to do this.
Since these stories are so long, comments may be delayed too.
OMG!
I just finished re-reading the series a few days ago. Was I reading the updated versions or the originals?
Updated... like how? more story, better/different formatting? I do not want to go back and reread it again just so I can figure out how it was changed.
Dayna.
ps. I'm a fan of a story that is gripping and LONG. The best stories make me risk losing my job cuz I cannot stop reading...
Not too many changes, actually
Hey, Dayna.
Since you said you read the old installments a few days ago, then you were definitely reading the old un-updated originals since I put up the updated ones just last night, just before I uploaded the new installments, in fact. Besides, I don't think you could have missed the updated versions since the updates have new graphics. (The graphics are actually only small png files, all of them within the requirements that the admin guys have imposed. They just look big on the screen lol)
Anyway, the updates are basically formatting and grammar corrections and just a very, very, very, very few changes in the content. You don't need to re-read them - there are no changes to the story. Really.
Thank you for your words regarding long stories. I find too-short stories disappointing myself, but that's just me. And if my stories are too long, that's why I put the bookmarks. Besides, 90,000-word stories don't sound too long, right? lol
Something may be wrong with the files though since I keep seeing a red "updated" label in my list of stories, even though I'm not touching them. I'd appreciate it if you can let me know if you spot anything wrong (format-wise, I mean)
As to whether my story is gripping enough, I don't know. You have to judge.
As to your job, well... lol
Let me know what you think of the completed story when you're done, okay?
