Am I the only one?

Am I the only one reading Murphey's Law (Revised)? I have never read the original story, but to me this story has all of the elements that makes a great mystery. I have compared this story to the ones written by Dashiell Hammett and Agatha Christie. This whodunit takes place in the 1960's and is a very good story. Everybody who hasn't read the original should read this one, because Murder She Wrote has nothing over Murphy's Law (Revised). And even the ones who read the original story should read this one again.

Love & hugs,
Barbara

You Asked For This

One of my girlfriends told me one day, that she would rather be a guy. When I asked her why, she just said because guys have it way easier. They don't have to keep their legs together, they don't have to have periods, they can't get pregnant, and they can pee standing next to any tree or bush. She even said that being a girl was like living a curse.

Chapter I - The wish comes true.

What Mother Didn't Know - Chapter 16

"...It is so nice having the two of you here. I had almost forgot what it was like having a little girl to look after. You know Sue, that I am very happy right now. Two of my best friends in the world live in my house, and one of those friends even brought her sister. Thank you, Susan Marie Kelly, you are a wonder..."

What Mother Didn't Know - Chapter 15 - Susan Goes To The Hospital

"Objection, your honor. There is no evidence presented that says the minor child has XX chromosomes."

"Over Ruled. Mr. Marks has filed his medical reports on the blood work, the physical examination, the x-rays, and the hospital procedure to remove the useless layers of skin covering the child's vaginal opening. Now, Mr. Connors, if you keep objecting, knowing that we have irrefutable medical evidence showing this child to be genetically female, I will hold you in contempt!"

What Mother Didn't Know - Chapter 13 - Susan Gets Good News

Dang tears, they seem to come at the worst times. We sat on the bench just outside of the changing rooms, and I didn't care if others saw me or not. I was happy, and I am a girl, and I had a right to cry whereever I wanted to, for whatever reason. Bobbie sat on one side of me, and Cindy on the other. They held me from both sides, to show they were very serious about being there for me.

What Mother Didn't Know - Chapter 12 - At Court

Chapter twelve - At court.

We just stood there inside the door, and Mrs. Granger just held me. She walked me over to the sofa, and sat down with me, motioning Bobbie to take me upstairs and show me my room.

What Mother Didn't Know - Part Two - Chapter 11 - Mother Gets Sneaky.

Chapter Eleven - Mother gets sneaky.

I went to my room, and did what little homework I had. Then I put my books on my dresser, and got out Little Women and started reading. Mother came in my room, and sat on my bed.

"Ronnie, this thing with Dr. Johnston didn't go very well. But tomorrow, while you are at school, I have an appointment with Mrs. Beale. She wants to talk to me about you, and even though she says that you make a beautiful girl, you should be raised as a boy. So she wants to talk to me about that."

Anything For A Moped

I am reading the story in Crystal's Story Site "Anything For A Moped", by Dawn De Winter, and I find it very confusing. First of all, Kyle makes a deal with his mother that he can buy guy looking clothes in the girl's department, and nobody would know the difference. Then his mother adds to the deal, that Kyle wear a sports bra, and panties, but that he should watch his movemets or the bra would ride up. Then he gets to playing hoops with his friend Jason, who immediately says he is playing like a girl, and yet, Kyle is watching his movements so he is not discovered.

Thoughts on my short story Brandy

I was reading over my short story Brandy again, because some of the comments I had gotten, said that the SRU wizard never changes his M.O. Hmmm, yet he is a wizard with a sense of humor, sardonic as it is, and does do good for people with genuine hearts.

Okay so, the interaction of the wizard is what makes him loveable, and his attire is a conversation starter, and he always does buisness in his little shop that crops up here and there every now and then. BUT.....

Girls Lie Too

Girls Lie Too

Get up, David. There's a policeman at the door, and he says he needs to speak with you."

"Huh," I said sleepily, wondering why mother was waking me up.

"There's a policeman at the door, and he needs to talk to you."

"Why does he want to talk to me?"

"He wouldn't tell me, he just said he needs to speak with you."

The Interview - Part 2

The Interview — Part II
By Barbara Lynn Terry

I sat in the kitchen, after getting home. I made myself a cup of tea, and just thought about what had happened today. I applied for work as a waitress, dressed as a woman. The manager liked my attitude and hired me, telling me I start in the morning. Since I started at six A.M., I went in my bedroom, and set my alarm clock. Then I took out my uniform from the package, and put it on the back of my chair, very neatly, so as not to wrinkle it.

Chrissie

Well everyone, I'm just posting this to say that Chrissie is finally finished. The chapters that are posted here, have been edited, and gone over with a mine sweeper. So they are just a tad different.

The book will be ready for sale in about 2 months, or shorter, because I am editing it right now.

Hey everyone!

Hey everyone, I'm writing from Melbourne, Australia. It is really nice here, and even though there are homophobic people here, like everywhere else, the acceptance for trangencered and gays is just unreal. I guess nobody can be themselves without conflict of some sort, but I have been here since October, 2007, and I have had no problems.

Also, I had to reregister a new account to get in, because this site wasn't recognizing my username or email address. But for whatever reason, I am still the same old Barbara Lynn Terry (smiles).
