There will not be any more of these. It was too hard to keep this light in a war. I basically just glossed over truths about casualties and the fate of female captives. I read a bowlderized version of the Illiad almost sixty years ago. Since then it has always been a part of the accepted cultural background of my life without ever reading a decent translation. That may have to change.
