I shook my head, barely moving, not looking directly at her. “It’ll be fun,” she said.

After a great lunch where Sylvie refused yet again to sample Grits and instead, settled for a Pork Sandwich with all the trimmings. I had the chicken version of the same Sandwich while Jared settled on some Meat Loaf that, to be honest, looked and smelt fantastic.

Jared Raynes was a big man. Not that he was built like a linebacker, but he had a presence that was right there on the nail from the beginning. Using the word ‘Imposing’ did not do him justice.

Once the introductions had been made, he said,
“This is my show, ok? If I tell you to duck, you duck. Got it?”

“Shower is big enough for two,” she reported happily. “Get undressed!”

CHAPTER 46
University life was so very different from school. It looked, on the surface, as if we had much less work to do, lessons being fewer, free time seeming to be endless, but it wasn’t at all that way. There was so much background reading to do, for starters, and then we weren’t being handed the answers for later parroting. Our lecturers actually expected us to go out and bloody RESEARCH things, the sods.

Arrived back in that awful room of his Linda led him straight to the bathroom. “Good sissy, first things a sissy should always be clean inside and out, sissies should always smell pretty and to ensure that you are going to bath twice a day from now on. Once every morning and once every evening. Running your bath is the first thing you should do when waking up or when going in your room to head to bed as it takes a while to fill.” Linda explained as she showed Victor how to run his bath. He was used to taking showers, but this room didn’t even have a shower.

He was shaking as he spoke, and Drew picked up on that immediately, impressing me with his depth of character. I wondered what his own history had been like, before pulling myself back to the there and then, and Jordan.

Drew’s eyes flicked between the young man and my girl, before he smiled, reaching across to shake the boy’s hand.

“Coming out, love? Not the first, won’t be the last, but just remember who we are. Big safety net, aren’t we? Right. A few basics…”
