That had been a good meal, I was content with a full belly. Tanris and I hoped to return soon if we could do so without some kind of hassle.

He spent some of the time while we traveled informing me about the court. It was only then that he said he was taking me to see the High Lord. I turned a bit in the seat and asked him why? His reply was quite simple, "If you are the one in the prophecy, he needs to know."

NIcole finds out why she's shaped that way she is. She also starts to get ready for the date. Janet recieves a warning.

Selene looked around the park. The council had chosen her for this task. She was to find the first of the new group of magical girls. She had been told that this group would be different from the others. This group was being created to keep the other groups from fighting amongst themselves. She only hoped it worked like they wanted it to. As for why they chose her instead of an older guide. This group was completely new. Something that has never been seen before. So, that meant that nobody knew what their path would be. From that viewpoint, why not have a completely new guide?

Notes: Sorry this took so long. On top of my usual issues, I got a head cold that hung around for at least two weeks and decimated my energy to do things. I'm still not fully recovered, but I'm about 85 to 90 percent recovered.

It was a new morning in the large town of Fiddler’s Vale, and three recent arrivals debate their next move.

Goruza, Emerald, and their new friend Milah sat at a small table in the dining area of the inn they had come to the night before, talking as they ate breakfast.

Emerald asked Milah, “You’ve been in this town, where do we go for help in rescuing Besh?”

Tower City is defended. It is defended by magical girls. They stop the forces of evil from draining the population of energy. They are very good at their job. Usually.

Tower City has a problem. The problem is the magical girls. There are too many magical girls. Instead of fighting the forces of evil, they are fighting each other. The people of Tower City can only endure. They do not know which is worse. The attacks of the villains, or the fights between the magical girls.

The forces behind the magical girls are fed up. They are tired of watching their girls fight each other instead of stopping evil. They have decided to take action.

So this is my first attempt at writing a story for the Whateley Universe. I originally started this several years ago but after a few chapters I found myself with serious writers block. Recent stories on here and on the Whateley site have encouraged me to reattempt the story. This is only the prologue. There is hopefully much more to come. Of course any help would be appreciated and if you spot any mistakes or issues don't hesitate to let me know. I will apologise in advance if I have made any mistakes with the lore.

I spent the next several days just relaxing in the common room of the inn, enjoying a drink now and then.

It took that long for the people there to get used to me sitting on a heavy stool I had built out behind the inn the day after I arrived. Once the stool was built to my satisfaction, I placed it just far enough from the cooking hearth that I would stay warm, but not be too hot.

The next morning, Goruza, Emerald, and their new friend Milah had a bite of breakfast, then searched the cave more. While they looked around Milah told them about how the axe beaks had come into the cave through a tunnel that came out in the fields nearby.

I hoped to start posting this the day after Christmas. However, it proved longer and more complicated than anticipated.
