Bunnie slowly starts coming around. She shivers from her skin bare skin touching cold metal. She had duct tape over her mouth and her hands were bound behind her back. She notices that she was completely naked, and her head was resting on someone’s body. There was pain coming from between her legs and her head was a little woozy.

“Mmmm!! That feels so good.” Tammy leans back against Leland as they take a shower together.

Last night, they didn’t have any sex or anything. They had woken up and instead of taking separate showers, they decided to take a shower together. “Where do you put all this food?” Nyx looks at Leland as he ate the last eggroll.

Leland looks towards Nyx “same place you do.” A smile appears on his face.

“Right. So, what exactly do the two of you do and how did you manage to damage that stolen suit?”

Tammy and Leland were sitting on the sectional in the living room watching a television show. Leland was naked and was just wearing a pair of boxers. Tammy was curled up next to him and was wearing an oversized black t-shirt that had a smiley face on it with a bullet hole above the eyes. She wasn’t wearing any panties or a bra.

Aylin walks hand in hand with Mark as they do some Christmas shopping. They still had two weeks before Christmas.

“Who’s left on our Christmas list?” Mark looks at Aylin since she was handling the list.

“My mom, your parents, Bree, Brandy, Clair, Clay, Jamie, and Tony.” All the gifts they had to mail off were done.

Aylin mailed gifts to Bart’s daughters and Angel. She missed having Angel around. The last time she spoke with Angel, she and her family were doing well in Texas. Bart took real good care of them.

Jack’s Private Lear Jet:
Bree was asleep and had her head on Aylin’s lap as they enter Montana airspace. They had been woken up in the middle of the night and driven to a private airfield. Even Jester was contacted and brought to the airfield.

When they boarded the plane, Tizzy, Lien, Ikaika, and Omphile had been on the plane. After a few hours of flying, they landed again and picked up Cheshire. Lien had been excited that her grandmother was coming with them. She was asleep on Cheshire’s lap as well.

Chapter 3.11

Wednesday, May 12^th, 2023

8AM

Marcia, Chet, and Fraiser were perusing the area near where the body had been found when they saw French and Coleridge approaching.

“G’Mornin’,” Fraiser called as they got close.

Marcia was worried that they’d be ordered out of the area, but Coleridge asked, “Find anything?”

Chapter 3.6

We weren’t quite certain what the effect of Marc being present would have, so both he and Paula were asked to remain out of sight.

We started our trip down the wall of the pit. On our way down, my husband, ever the engineer, examined the walls. “These were molten once. It's like they were super-heated, then cooled into an alloy.”

“Do you think Kari did it?” Daddy asked.

Montana General Hospital Parking Lot:
Jack walks out to the rental car he got when he flew in. He spots Cecil leaning against the car. She was still dressed as a nurse.
“What do you want, Cecil?” He stops a few feet from her.

“I left you a present in the trunk. It seems whoever wants your daughter dead, sent a person to try to kill her again. I spotted them sneaking around at one of the nurse's stations.” Cecil has memorized every nurse, doctor, and janitorial staff member in the hospital.

Chapter 9

Monday, May 10^th, 2023

5:30AM

Marcia quietly opened the door to Allie’s room and checked in on her niece. It had become a routine that she went through every morning. She would check on Allie, then Sammy, and then go out and help Bruce with the animals.

Allie was in deep sleep, so Marcia reversed course and quietly closed the door. She moved to her nephew’s room and quietly opened the other door. Inside, Sammy was sleeping soundly as well. On his wall was a fresh drawing. Curious, Marcia tiptoed over to look at the picture of the riverbank. The moose with her calf and the diving eagle were both spectacular to see in their own ways.

0100 hrs. Julia’s Hospital Room, Montana General Hospital:
Jack walks into Julia’s hospital room and spots his wife and his daughter-in-law. His wife was sitting next to Julia’s hospital bed and holding her hand. He spotted Christmas sleeping in the other chair.

He walks up behind his wife and places his hand on her right shoulder “how is she doing?”

Debbie turns her head and looks at her husband when she hears his voice. She was relieved that he finally showed up.

Chapter 8

Saturday, May 8^th, 2023

“What in the hell are you doing here, Fraiser?!”

Ron Fraiser spun around to face, of all people, Brandy Coleridge. “Whaddya mean, Agent Coleridge?”

Cecil’s Safe House:
Cecil was listening to the police band the day that Julia was attacked. Jack told her to keep an eye on his family while he was gone. So, she found a nice townhouse that was for rent and arranged to rent it for a few months. The landlord was a little hesitant at first until she offered to pay cash for six months in advance. After that, he didn’t care.

Holly Grove Private School, Christmas Classroom:
Christmas had her back to the class as she wrote some notes on the whiteboards. As she is writing the information on the whiteboard. There is a knock on her classroom door. She looks at who it was and noticed it was assistant principal Thorton.

“Excuse me, class.” Christmas puts her marker down and walks out into the hallway.

“What can I do for you, Mr. Thorton?” Christmas was wondering why he was in her class.
