Luna stretches as she woke-up and steps out on the little balcony of her home. It was early, and no one was in the office yet. She glides down to the pool near her mushroom home. She slips into the crystal clear cool waters. As she is enjoying her morning bath, she hears some noises in the office. She knew there shouldn’t be anyone in the office right now.
She dries off and jumps up into the air. Using her wings, she flies around the office but doesn’t see anything out of the ordinary. However, something didn't feel right to her, and it was bothering her. She flies up towards the ceiling and cause the air in the office to turn into a light mist. As she is looking around, she spots two invisible figures over near the door that leads down to the vault.
She charges the mist and watches as the two figures start jumping around as the air around them become electrically charged. She increases it and watches as one of the two figures become visible. The suit they have on flickers as the electrical charge affects it. The other one keeps jumping around.
Luna tries not to laugh as she turns the water under their feet to ice. She giggles as the two figures fall on the floor. One person remained invisible, but the other person was visible.
Harry and Dave couldn’t believe what was going on. They had planned everything out and knew that no one would be at the office. Everything was going according to plan. They couldn’t figure out where the mist had come from or how it had become electrified. Dave had come across the original formula for invisibility. He had found the journal of the person who had first developed the formula. It was in an old steamer trunk of things in an old house he had been hired to demolish. He had started looking through the journal. Most of the notes were in code, but he managed to decipher it with the help of a friend.
The problem was, the effects wore off after thirty minutes. He had to wait four hours before he could drink another potion. The potion didn’t turn his clothes invisible, so he was nude. Just like the character from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
He tries to stand up but couldn’t because the floor was so icy. He and Harry kept slipping and sliding, knocking each other down. They finally manage to stand up and look around.
Luna stays hidden where she is. She was having so much fun messing with these guys. She wonders how long it will take for them to get the message?
Harry and Dave couldn’t see anyone or anything. Dave knew he only had ten minutes left before the formula wore off.
“We need to get out of here Harry. I only have ten minutes left and there’s no way you're going to be able to break the biometric lock on this door.” Dave looks at his partner.
“You know Jacob isn’t going to like this. He wants that necklace.” Harry knew Jacob was obsessed with the necklace.
The reason he was obsessed with it, was because he was slowly dying. That necklace could cure him and give him the time he wanted. They had already tried to find the fountain of youth, but the natural portal that leads to the hidden grove where it was located, was sealed forever.
They knew Mr. Blackstone had caused that to happen. They also knew he had a vial of the water he preserved in his vault along with several other magical artifacts.
The two of them head out the way they came. Luna follows behind them to see how they got in. She notices they by-passed the alarm system and put it back to normal, after rearming it. Once they are gone, she flies back to the mess she helped create and clean it up.
Mr. Blackstone’s House:
Leetha was outside in Mr. Blackstone’s garden with her sword drawn. She was barely dress and was ignoring the slight chill in the air. She practices several sword katas. She concentrated on her movements and defenses. She blends grace with deadliness. Her moves were fast and on point as her sword sliced through the air at an invisible foe. The lettering etched on her sword had a slight glow to them.
“That moved looked deadly.” Mr. Blackstone had woken up and noticed Leetha outside practicing.
Leetha sheaths her sword and turn towards Mr. Blackstone.
“If you think that move was deadly, you should see my father and mother spar with each other. That was a simple moved compare to what they can do.” Leetha reaches down and takes a sip of water from her waterskin.
“Are both your parent’s swordsman?” Mr. Blackstone wonders what Leetha’s world was like.
“Yep, it was how they met. My mother was out on a quest looking for the burial place of a legendary warrior when she came across my father defending himself against a group of fifteen bandits. She joined in and between the two of them. They killed the group. None of the bandits survived their encounter with my parents.” Leetha recalled her mother telling her the story how they met.
“Your parents sound dangerous.” Mr. Blackstone wouldn’t mind meeting them.
“They are. They have traveled to different dimensions and met a lot of different people. My mother uses to be human before she was completely changed into an elf.” Leetha found it unbelievable that her mother used to be human.
“If you don’t mind me asking. How did she change from being human to be turned into an elf?”
“She fell into a magical pool. It turned whoever fell into it, into the thing they admired most. In my mother’s case, she admired elves. So, it turned her into one. She is completely elven.” She had gone back to the location her mother gave her of where the pool had been. It was no longer there.
“A magical pool changed your mother?” Mr. Blackstone couldn’t believe that.
“Yep, she was changed. She has never regretted being changed. I have an amulet I found on my last adventure that allows a person to change their gender. It belonged to an ancient culture that believed that people should experience what it was like to be the opposite gender of their birth.” Leetha and her companions had been traveling through unexplored areas of jungle. Where no one had been before. While they were exploring, they came across some ruins of an ancient settlement. They found all sorts of items while they explored it, including some very old magical artifacts. The amulet she currently had in her possession had come from there.
She had found it in an ancient temple dedicated to an ancient goddess she had never heard of before. She had a sorceress she knew and trusted to identify what the amulet did. She told her what it was used for and that if the person had the amulet, they could change back to their original gender.
“Is your dimension steep in magical energies?” Mr. Blackstone was curious.
“Yes, my dimension is very steep in magical energies. Our dimension is so steep in magical energies, that my ancestors nearly wiped themselves out with their carelessness of using it. There’s a whole area in the middle of our main continent that was leveled because of the release of so much magical energies. The area is still wild and dangerous to travel through. There are pockets of wild magic that if you enter there, you will either disappear or be magically disfigure or changed from the wild energies.” Leetha shivers just thinking about it.
Just as Mr. Blackstone was about to ask a question. He feels his cellphone vibrate. He looks at it and notices it was the number for the office. It was a text message from Luna.
Bad guys were here! Took care of them. They tried to get into the vault.
“We need to head to the office.” Mr. Blackstone looks towards Leetha.
“What happened at the office?” Leetha needed to change before she went.
“Luna just text saying some bad guys try to break into the vault at the office.”
“I wonder what they wanted?” Leetha turns and heads inside to take a shower and change into some clean clothes.
Mr. Blackstone follows behind her. He makes some coffee for them to take with him. He sends a text out to the rest of the team letting them know.

Wonder if Leetha...
Wonder if Leetha will be able to understand Luna. I also wonder if she will be able to provide intel about items in the vault, maybe even help deal with them.

Items in the vault
Mr. Blackstone knows what each item is in the vault. He put them there. As for Leetha understanding Luna. It's amazing what magic allows you to do.
