A friend of mine told me this little snippet:
Pick up a mirror, lie on your back and look at the reflection of your face; this is what you looked like ten years ago.
Sit up and look at your face in the mirror; this is obviously what you look like now.
Put the mirror on your bed/ floor and look down at your reflection; this is what you will look like in ten years time.
Talk about depressing! I was quite cheerful until she told me this and I was stupid enough to try it.

good skin... To make up for all the other problems I guess. We're all different, and this is one of the things I like about the world. Our differences and our similarities.
Maybe that's your issue, that Tonic... :-) Or maybe it's the Gin... (I never understood either.) I much prefer a good strawberry daquiri! Maybe cause it's so healthy with those strawberries.

A very healthy drink.
The quinine in the tonic prevents malaria - never have suffered from it so it appears to work.
The lime or lemon slice prevents scurvy - again, never suffered so it seems to work.
The gin is just a good all round antiseptic.
Hair...
On my back, I could get all the hair outta the way... Upright, it was like now... looking straight down, it was a mess.
But my face looked the same.
Of course, ten years ago I wouldn't have cared to do this lil test, and in another ten I'll prolly avoid the mirror... so I guess it worked!! It showed my attitude!!

Now that's just being silly...
Cheap face lift. Staying young looking.
I had hair transplants along the front of my head about 4 years ago to the tune of $7000. They tood an inch wide strip of hair off the back of my head just above the collar level. they pulled the gap closed and sewed it.
Well the hair transplants have been a certifiable pain in the neck, but the effect of tighting my forhead amounted to a sort of face lift. I am 61 now, but people have recently told me that they thought I was 38. What shameless liars, but I love them anyway. giggle.
When I was in Thailand, this last August, on the spur of the moment, I asked the Doc to raise my upper lip. He did so, for about 500 american, and I got some real bang for my buck. He basically sliced along above my lip, just below my nose, pulled out about 3/8 inch of skin and stiched the incision together. The effect was astonishing.
When I returned from Thailand, my friends thought that I'd had substantial face work done. I think it was the fact that I was absolutely thrilled at having my SRS, the lip lift and my whole attitude.
Other factors may be that I do not drink except for a beer once in a while. I am close to a vegetarian, and have reduced my prescription drug use to almost nill. Those damned drugs caused me to gain nearly 45 lbs in two years and now I have lost 17 lbs. I want to get back to my svelt 150lbs again.
In my case, low weight is advisable because I've had several very serious back injuries, and find that if I keep my weight subnormal, at the Doctor's advice, my mobility is much enhanced.
