I went to Bristol pride today. Thoroughly enjoyed going around all the stands and chatting about TG issues.
I think I'm becoming a grumpy old Tranny. (Bizarre visions of a BBC series about grumpy old GLBT's) My God wouldn't that be blast.

The biggest wind-up was asking some heterosexists politicians why there has to be a box declaring the sex of the child on a birth certificate. (Think about it.) I posed them some pretty tricky questions and they could not give me any justifiable answers when viewed through the baby's eyes and transgendered eyes.

Well, finally got chapter 24 of Sissy Farm posted. Arm is slowly getting better but the cabin fever is serious. At the moment I'm going for walks in the hills around my house and picking blackberries to make Blackberry crumble and custard. (Delicious!!)
It's bloody awkward picking the berries though cos you need both hands to pick them. One to hold the bramble and one to pluck the berries.

If you read between the lines you can spot that slowly Michelle is gaining empowerment from her sissification.
I know many readers don't like to even contemplate the word sissy because of the painful connotations it often has with memories of their childhoods and school days. This chapter is something of the start of the ascent from the abyss as several of the sissifeid characters begin to use their sissification as levers to empower themselves and avoid subjugation.

Well I took the car out yesterday, changing gear a bit iffy but otherwise a real sense of freedom.

Yep, I've got cabin fever and I'm falling to bits here.
Can't drive, can't cycle, can't do much writing, sore shoulder still a distraction so it's difficult to concentrate, daren't moan or she'll come down on me like a ton of, -.

Well that's 18 posted. I'm coming close to the new Sissy farm chapters and whilst I was poking through some old floppy discs, (God! Doesn't computer technology move quickly!) I came accross the original copies of some other stories. I'll be overhauling these eventually and also sticking them on Big Closet.
Busy at the Royal Welsh how this week. Took my two nieces there today aged 6 and 4. God they don't half ask some tricky questions when they get amongst the cattle, sheep, horses and pigs. (And they always seem to be anatomical questions!)

This chapter generally describes life for Michelle at Mistress Janets Academy for Sissies. There's less adult detail as this story begins to move to more mundane aspects of everyday life for Sissies.
From my personal perspective when I had finished writing chapters 12 and 13, I was coming out of a somewhat dark period of my life as I had set out on the road of reconciliation to my childhood. I'm persevering with this story for It helps me maintain continuity in my head for the re-writes of the later chapters. I have learned to my cost that it doesn't do to let a story go 'off the boil' because continuity can go awry if one returns to it 'half cocked' and just plunges into the story without keeping track of the plot.

Kristina's observation that BC is a more 'feminine site' than some other TG sites gives gives me an intersting insight into the sort of readership that comprises possibly the majority of devotees of BC.

Well, that's chapter 10 finally posted. It's been sitting on my 'puter' for a few weeks while I sort out other issues in my life.
Been a rough couple of weeks. Sorry if it seems like along time between postings.
Been doing a lot of cycling to clear my head and the final arrival of some decent sunny weather has helped a lot to lift my mood.

I'm going to read bike 1010 now to cheer me up a bit.

The Sparkle weekend Manchester 9th, 10th 11th July

It's just struck me that I haven't told anybody on BCTD that I'm going to The Sparkle Weekend in Manchester's gay village in the UK.
I'm staying at 'The place hotel', Friday and Saturday nights for the weekend 9th, 10th , 11th July.
Is anybody else going.
Lot's going on.
I'd love to meet some big closet readers or writers up there.
