I'm on time! Let's all cheer that fact as we read this totally full length and not short at all chapter, okay? (This is actually my normal chapter length for many of my tales, which is kind of depressing when I think about it.) Still doing the other projects, and both are still progressing.

For those of you who don't know, you can find some of my latest work over at the crystal hall... the new Whateley Academy site that is, not the old one. Just look under the generation 2 tag, and I'm there. So I haven't been gone, just... busy with something many of you haven't seen yet.

“I’m heading out now,” I say, grimacing in advance at the inevitable response.

“Kayleigh-Ann,” mum says in an obviously fake pained voice, “come here…” I roll my eyes, before heading into the living room and facing my mother, whose face is scrunched up in a look of pure disapproval.

“What is it?” I ask. “I don’t want to keep Ollie waiting…” I don’t want to keep Ian waiting, either, I think to myself.

“WHY are you going out with him?” Mum asks, barely restraining herself from spitting. “He’s a nerd…”

As I waited for the lift to reach my floor I reflected on the evenings events. I was really upset to see Nan so weak and wondered what she thought of me dressed as I was.

The lift seemed to be taking an eternity to arrive and a lady who was also waiting commented upon this

"Three lifts and not one of them coming to this floor" The lady moaned as we both stared at the indicator panels showing one lift on the lower ground floor and the other two on floors seven and eight

*Before…

I have one glass to get to my rooms and get cleaned up and then head to Lady Tatiana’s office to meet up with her.
There’s more blood in the things and the pad and I need to wash some more but my underwear was fine and I use the jakes and get cleaned up and then get some more clothes and such and kit myself for this whole damned woman’s mark experience and I head off to go to Lady Tatiana’s office.
There’s a couple of squires outside and they ask me to wait and show me to a bench and one even offers me a cup of tea which I’m grateful to have and sip at it and wait as there’s obviously some business going on and there’s other’s showing up and they have what looks to be a rolling rack of dresses and gowns and other things and the women are looking at me and I’m blushing as I realize that the size of most of these things are sized for me.
Finery female finery and all the kit to go with it from the clothes to the shoes by the look of it to scents and cosmetics.
Oh… oh I was not, definitely not expecting this to be happening and so soon.
I’m not sure that I’m ready to be my sister Gracia just yet.

It was when I was seventeen or so and I dropped out of high school after last year after something happened. Life was getting to be too much for me anymore and I was put on anti depressants. No one around me cared what I was going through especially my parents no one cared what I did or if I needed help. Which to be honest I did need help but I had no support. Just like when I was younger they left me alone and let me do whatever to them I didn't really exist. At that point I had no one to stop me from doing something dumb or to even give a shit if something happened to me.

Ryanna lived a solitary life. Consumed by her work and her desire to simply live a quiet life. She did have one compulsion that would finally change her life.

I was sitting at my desk going through some paperwork when the door to the office opened and in walked a man in a Police Inspectors uniform.

“Sergeant Dobbs, I understand that you know the Gibbs family?”

“Yes Sir. I guess you don’t know that Nick is, sorry was my adopted brother. He changed his name back to his original one when he met his birth parents a few years ago.”

The officer sat down with a sigh.

“I’m going to need you to go and break the bad news to Mrs Gibbs. It will be better coming from you.”
