It is not autobiographical, but it's certainly how I wish things might have turned out for me. I can honestly say that I've never had a pastor like the one in this story, but it is very close right now, for which I am very grateful.

Absentmindedness was a family trait that she’d worked hard to eliminate. Kim wondered if the emotional trials and tribulations of the recent few weeks was finally catching up with her.
