Sunday arrived and we spent the day reading, catching up on the newspapers, television, writing a letter or two, and being quiet and calm. Take it easy. That was important to do. Slow the down-hill rush in sexual encounters and experimentation. There was plenty of time!

A few weeks went by and Mrs. Jenkins called to tell us we had to be in court on Friday at ten o'clock. That was the day after tomorrow. Daddy said she had read the reports of all the doctors and that there was nothing to be afraid of, because they were good reports. So daddy told us that since we needed to be in court again in two days, that we could stay home from school tomorrow.

My tale continues into the second weekend of my husband's growing delight in the freedom to dress in my, and now a few of his own, feminine clothes. I am beginning to work wonders with his hair — which he loves- and I'm about, tomorrow, to send him to select his own cosmetics from the local department store. Before that, we have Friday night! (Chapter 7 started the evening's joy!).

In the fifth part of FIREFLY: DOUBLE BOOKED, Mal and Jayne head off to a special delivery, only to discover just how "special" it is. My dad had wanted to be a medical doctor but was forced to drop out of college when my sister was born. It seemed like a good idea for me to try to do what he could not, so, I decided to be pre-med in college, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. I was accepted into the college and would start in September.

Cael and Arric laughed. "Well, we are set up for trouble now."
