Blue Lace Chp. 10

Printer-friendly version

Felica wakes up and finds Billy snuggled up against her chest. Erin on the other hand was under her other arm and her face was pressed against the side of her chest. She just lay there on her back with both girls snuggled against her body.

She had been informed by her brother’s company that Billy had been turned on purpose. The person who had paid for her transformation had a thing for young girls. Billy was made to look like his niece. The person had a thing for his niece and when they learned that there was a way to make a duplicate. He paid to have a homeless child turned into his niece.

The name of the person who paid for the change had been found out and they were out of Chicago. Her brother and some of his men were dispatched to apprehend the person. As for Billy, she didn’t want to leave Felica’s side. So, now Felica was a mother. That got some teasing from her sisters and brothers. As for Erin, she wanted to stay with Felica as well. So, now she was a mother to a pre-teen girl and a six-year-old girl.

She didn’t know how she was feeling about becoming an instant mother. She was still getting uses to being a woman herself. She manages to extract herself from Erin and Billy and grab her robe. Since the girls were sleeping with her, she started wearing a nightgown to bed.

She walks downstairs and spots Alexie in the kitchen eating her favorite cereal. She dressed in her school uniform and was waiting on Stephanie to get ready. She walks over to the coffee machine and brews herself a cup of coffee.

“How are your daughters?” Alexie looks at Felica.

“You mean your niece’s?” Felica looks at Alexie because she was adopted by her mother.

“Okay, my niece’s.” Alexie was still getting uses to being a girl and the adopted daughter of a famous medical doctor, weapon designer, and scientist.

“Billy is still adjusting and is being a little clingy. Erin is adjusting like you, but it’s taking her a little longer to adjust.” Felica had both girls seeing a counselor that her mother trusted and knew here in Texas.

“How about those girls that look identical to those other girls?” Alexie has been keeping up with Felica’s activities.

“I’ve talked to Mr. Hardy and he wants to meet those girls and talk with the men that turned them into his daughters.” Felica had talked with Mr. Hardy about what she learned so far and he wanted to talk with the girls as well. He also wanted to talk with the guy responsible for making them look like his daughters.

The thing was when they changed the homeless boys into Mr. Bart’s daughters. Neither one of them was diabetic. The girls may look like Mr. Hardy’s girls, but the youngest one wasn’t a type 1 diabetic.

Stephanie comes walking into the kitchen wearing a pair of tight jeans and a nice blouse that showed off her assets. She looked like she was ready to take her daughter to school.

“You seem to be adjusting okay.” Felica noticed a big difference in Stephanie since she got changed.

“I’ve been waiting all my life for something like this to happen to me.” She walks over to the coffee maker and brews a cup of her favorite coffee.

After she gets her coffee brewing, she turns and looks at Felica and Alexie. She knew they just added two new girls to their household and it was her job to maintain the house they were living in.

“How many girls are you planning on adding to our household?”

“What do you mean?” Felica was curious why Stephanie was asking that question.

“I mean, how many kids or women are you planing on adding to our household? I need to know, so I can plan meals and buy whatever we need.” Stephanie has decided she was going to start taking her job more seriously.

“Ah! Well, I hadn’t planned on adding Billy and Erin to our household or on becoming a mother to them. I’m still getting used to being a woman myself. However, I couldn’t send them with my mother’s people either. Billy has become attached to me and Erin is the same way. She’s only a few years older than Billy, but mentally she’s more mature. So, to answer your question, hopefully no more.” Felica knew Billy needed her and so did Erin.

“How about those girls that look like Mr. Hardy’s children? What is going to happen to them?” Alexie was curious.

“That depends on Mr. Hardy and his wife. Either they can take them and add them to their family or my mom and her people can find them a good home.” Felica wonders what Mr. Hardy was going to do.

“That brings me to another question. Where do all the girls you rescue go?” Stephanie was curious.

“After my mother’s people learn who they once were. They see if the women want to go back home and see a counselor to help them or establish new credentials for them. If they need time to recover and adjust. They are transferred to a resort to my mother's medical branch own to get help and learn about their new selves. My mother won’t toss them to the winds. She’s too much of a doctor.”

“How can your mother afford to do that?”

“Trust me, my family has the money to spare. So, does my mom’s twin sister as well.” Felica takes a sip of her coffee.

“Your mother has a twin? What does she do?” Alexie was curious about Felica’s mother’s twin.

“My aunt Janet is a retired stage magician and doctor. She also has a big family as well.”

“Wow!” Alexis finishes her cereal.

Billy and Erin come walking into the kitchen. Billy walks over to Felica and hugs her. She didn’t know the other women in the kitchen and she was still a little scared as well.

Felica picks Billy up and places her on her hip. She looks into Billy’s hazel eyes and could see she was still waking up.

“Still waking up, sweetie?”

Billy nods her head yes. She lays her head against Felica’s shoulder. She was still trying to figure out what happened to her.

“Come on Erin, I’ll get you a bowl of cereal unless you want something else.” Stephanie saw how Erin was. She notices Erin was still confused about her situation.

She sits down next to Alexie and watches as Stephanie gets her and Billy some cereal bowls. She feels sorry for Billy because Billy was only ten or eleven years old and was turned into a six-year-old girl. She had been fourteen going onto fifteen, and she was turned into a ten-year-old girl.

Felica sets Billy in the other chair at the kitchen table. She grabs several boxes of cereal for the two girls to choose fun.

“Will Billy and Erin be joining me at the same school I’m going to?” Alexie looks towards Felica.

“Yes, but not right now. Billy and Erin will be seeing a friend of my mom that will help them adjust to their new situation. You’re welcome to talk to her as well, if you want, Alexie.” Felica feels it might help Alexie some.

“Can I think about it, please?” Alexie watches Felica’s face.

“Sure.” Felica pours some cereal and milk into Billy’s bowl.

While she is helping the girls. Her cellphone beeps, letting her know a text has arrived. She pulls her cellphone out of her back pocket and a message from an unknown number appears on the screen. All it says is meet me at The Lazy Clam restaurant at 1:00 pm if you want to know more about the blue lace drug.

Felica wonders who the sender could be. As she reads the message and how did they get her cell number as well.

“What is it, Felica?” Stephanie saw the puzzled look on Felica’s face after looking at her cellphone.

“Someone wants me to meet them at the Lazy Clam restaurant if I want to know more about the blue lace drug.”

“Do you know who sent it?” Stephanie walks over to Felica to read the message herself.

“No, and by the time my family traces the call. There is no guarantee I’ll find the person who sent it.”

“Are you going to go?” Stephanie wonders if it is a trap.

“I’ll go since nothing new has come up yet.” Felica hopes it isn’t a trap.

“Good luck.”

“Thanks.”
