Aidan's Tale HATBOX

unnamed(2)_2_0.jpg

Aidan wants to be a good boy...a good Christian, whatever that actually means? After seeing a lad being bullied, he wants to do something... anything to help the boy. He prays, believing that the same divine presence that healed his Ma would provide an answer. In his wildest dreams he never imagined that Aidan Patrick McAuley himself would be the answer to his own prayer.

On a well deserved vacation off the coast of Malta, six passengers manned a yacht headed for Sardinia and port at Caligiari, which would have been ironic if it weren't so devastating to the group of mutants known as the X-Men.

On board were five of the original mutants and their mentor, Professor Charles Xavier. As the boat drew within eighty miles of the island, a mist began to fall on the group as they enjoyed the brisk Brezza di Mare Mediterrana (Mediterranean breeze.) The mist began to thicken into a fog which quickly surrounded the yacht. This cruise was destined to be their greatest adventure…

Women_Armed-Forces-1024x620(1)_0.jpg

A compilation of stories about the brave transgender military personnel who served throughout the years; their deeds perhaps known to all even as their true selves were hidden from view. And thanks to the brave ones who continue to serve today.

The following are previously published short stories and novelettes. Real Life, heartache and sacrifice, celebration and joy, fantasy and even romance are included herein to hopefully bless all. Thanks to every one of my friends here who served and who yet serve on our behalf.

Down to Earth - 2 of 2

Four women, centuries old, versed in the ways of Draoidheil, the old art, not of witchcraft as we know it, but rather blessings and help for mortals; they are charged to bring strength to those living in doubt and fear. Each woman has the task of influencing one mortal only, so that they in turn can provide comfort to another. The women long ago had set aside power in favor of persuasion imbued with love, acceptance and understanding; those traits that had proven over and over to instill courage and hope…

Cause all we are we are
All we are we are
And every day is a start of something beautiful
And in the end the words won't matter
'Cause in the end nothing stays the same
And in the end dreams just scatter and fall like rain
