Whateley Academy

Well, I'm late. I expected to be done with this weeks ago. Unfortunately, I remembered after I started that this was one of my hardest stories to write correctly, and while in the middle of writing a book... yeah. The good news is the book is about 40% complete. The bad news is the slow updates will continue until I'm done. Though with luck they won't all be this slow.

Anyway, enjoy.

Krystal's Flight

This is the second of my Whateley Fan Fiction. It will (eventually) tie in with Danielle's Tale. I have one other story that will also tie in as well when written.

The Imp is an infamous art thief and super villain, and after a year long sabbatical, she's back in the game and out to prove that she still has what it takes. However, her latest heist soon proves to be a huge pain in the tail.

This is a non-TG story that takes place in the Whateley Universe. This is also the second story about the Imp, with the first being The Art of Being the Imp. I plan on posting the new updates to this site a week after each one is posted on the official Whateley site.

Poe Cottage

Been a little slow lately, and I have no excuse. At least, not one I can share. Anyway, have some Min! In this episode we find out Min has more to fall back on than just science.

John was walking back to his cottage. Man, he wished he hadn't gotten stuck with such a lame codename. Furball? But he hadn't wanted to argue with the MCO since they thought his power was harmless.

He chuckled a bit at that then stopped when he realized he wasn't alone.

Oh great. It was that bunch of jerks that had been making life hell for some of the other freshmen. Looked like it was his turn.

"Oh look, it's Tribble Boy."

He tried to ignore them.

"Man what a lame power, summoning a bunch of harmless furballs."

Ok,. that was enough.

Alright, so chapter 5 of this one. Fair warning, Vic turns his potty mouth up a notch. While not my style to write paragraphs of swear words, be advised there are a few sprinkled in here and there. If that type of thing doesn't offend you, enjoy.

The final chapter of this part of the Luna story arc see's not only the big fight between the Praetorians and the Good O'l Boy'z, but the full disclosure of Luna's true nature.

In this chapter, Luna and the Praetorians begin a pre-match tactical campaign of terror against the Good O'l Boy'z. Along the way, the Praetorians get kitted out with their costumes, Luna learns more about her succubus heritage and receives a detailed lecture on the theory of magic.

So another one from the way-back machine. There was a specific reason this one was on hold though; it has to do with two little segments involving canon characters. I debated leaving it out, but while this one is harmless the next one is used for a bit of explanation and back story. I don't like to play with other people's characters as a rule... but this just fit the story too well. I did sort of ask permission, and wasn't told I couldn't... so here we go.

With apologies to Maggie Finson and Bek D. Corbin specifically, and Whateley canon in general, here we go.

Please remember this one is a fan fiction, and if you feel the characters portrayed are a bit out of character; well, the blood moon was out. The planets aligned, and the dimensions were melting under the weight of various class X's. Choose your poison there.

On with the chapter.

Luna meets her room-mate and makes some desperately needed friends. Unfortunately, her reputation also takes a further a knock, when during the introductory tour, some indiscreet questions are asked about what she has foreseen.

Kayda is on the road to get to Whateley, but even a simple road trip isn't so simple when there are forces trying to make her life miserable. And even if she gets to Whateley, will things get any better for her?

Mary is a blast, but hard to write... So it tends to take me awhile. Enjoy the first chapter of the new year by me.

And as an aside, any recommendations or advice or help in regards to marketing or exposure would be appreciated. Seriously, I won't turn any of it down. I'm wary of Facebook however - they have a tendency to screw their users, as well as getting hacked. Sometimes both at the same time.

Sioux Falls League Headquarters

Kayda, having fled her home, has found a temporary refuge, and some new friends. She also sees, first-hand, that her superhero friends lead dangerous lives, in a way that impacts her profoundly.

Brandon is faced with many difficulties, not least of which is that he's now a Lakota girl, and his former friends have brutally attacked him. If he thought his difficulties were over, he was being hopelessly optimistic. And what's with the two spirits that are talking to him in his head?

Alright so here we are; in my opinion the defining chapter of this tale. Hopefully everyone will be able to figure out what happened in it. If not, let me know and I'll try and straighten it out.

More crazy point of view changes as I proceed to experiment; you have been warned.

Incidentally, who wants to see what I'd do with the magical girl trope? Anyone? Bueller? (Gives a shark's grin)

Surprise! I think I'm slowing down a bit now, but we will see what I can get done before December hits.
