Costuming got strange today.

One of the other girls was designing an outfit that had an armored breastplate. She'd designed it with the typical armored cups for her breasts.

This lead to a long lecture from Mrs. Ryan.

Seems that this is a horribly bad idea. She explained that doing it that way means that a strong impact on your chest gets focused into the area between the cups. Which can lead to a shattered sternum or worse.

So even if it looks funny, the "uniboob" look is safer.

The corpse was on the street, and it wasn’t my fault.

My journey started well enough. I managed to catch an angkot despite being around midnight, and after some fumbling, I managed to explain to the driver that I planned to go to Panggung street - I just moved, so I didn’t know the street name of my new house. Afterward, there’s really nothing to note. I read my book, the driver drove the car, and all’s right with the world.

As there are a few Brave New World fans over here on BigCloset, and I don't want to let them down by waiting until all of Volume Two is posted before I bring some of it here, I've decided that I'm going to post the opening chapters of the four Volume Two stories so far as a sort of preview. Charlie followed the man, at least until Elliot grabbed her by the hand. "Stop!" he said. "We don't even know who this guy is! He could be the Benefactor, for all we know!"

She shook her head. "No. He's not. Tim's fighting the Benefactor right now."

Allie asked, "How can you know that?"

She turned to her friends. "Because he told me. The Benefactor did."

Elliot raised an eyebrow. "Why would he do that?"

"Because..." She rubbed at her arm, sighed. "Because he used to love me."

"What?!" Allie asked.
