Detective Harrison had received the USB that the female voice on the phone had said arrived. It had been dropped off to him by Officer Jordan. It was a black 32GB ScanDisk thumbdrive. When he scanned the drive with the anti-virus program they were using at the station. It came back negative.
He opens one of the folders and listens to the first recording that was there. While he was listening to the recordings, he saw that there was a folder that contained pictures. He browses through the pictures of different people that had been taken and recorded. He couldn’t believe who and what he was hearing
He goes through several more images and saw the weapons they had. The plan for the dirty bomb that had been laid out to be constructed.
He couldn’t believe all the information that had been gathered and turned over to him. He even had the license plates and location of each person.
After listening to several recordings, he sits back in his chair and couldn’t believe all this information. There was enough information to arrest everyone he had pictures of for terrorism and hate crimes. The thing that bother him most, was the fact there was a traitor in the department. If he was going to do anything against this group, it would have to be kept close to the chest. He gets with a few people he can trust to arrange to arrest these people. He goes to a judge he could trust to get the necessary warrants to arrest these people.
Katlain’s Garage:
Katlain was busy replacing the damage parts on the stolen Rubicon. She’s been working on it since seven in the morning. She stops and takes a sip of her ice tea. Most of the body work has been done and she got all the sanding done. All she had left was to paint the Rubicon. When she went out to talk to Red to find out who Samuel was. She picked up the paint for the Rubicon. It was an exact match. She knew how to blend the paint, so you couldn’t tell what was old and what was new on it.
As for Samuel, she found out he worked down at Andrew Funeral Services. He was the guy you went too, if you needed to get rid of a body or if you needed an implant from a body for yourself. Katlain felt sick when she found the second part out. She knew that it was necessary to have a way to dispose of a body, but to buy an implant from a dead corpse sent shivers up and down her body.
She puts her tea down and gets back to work on the Rubicon. She wishes she had the money to at least add some armor plating or kevlar to the Rubicon. She’ll have to research how much it will cost her to buy a kevlar kit for the Rubicon. She moves the Rubicon to the paint booth and start painting it. She paints it back to the original color.
As she is painting the Rubicon, she remembered seeing a military dune buggy for sale from a guy that deals strictly in military vehicles. She’s dealt with him before in the past. She might go by his place and see how much he wants for the military dune buggy and supe it up.
Once the Rubicon is painted and clear coated, it was late in the afternoon. She takes her mask off and walk out of the paint booth. She calls the local Chinese joint and place an order for delivery.
While Katlain is waiting on her dinner to be delivered. She heads into the office of the garage and checks to see if there had been any more conversions going on. She looks at the log to see who has made any phone calls or recordings. She also does a GPS scan to see where all the cars are. She notices a few were at a nearby bar and the others were at other locations. She checks where the corrupt police officer was and turn on the bug she slipped into his pocket.
“I tell you, someone is watching us. I got a delivery of a pizza yesterday and when I called the place to ask about the delivery girl. They said they didn’t have a girl that matched her description.”
“Did you get a look of her face?”
“No, she had a baseball cap help covering her face and her head down slightly. I couldn’t get a clear look of her face. Not even the receptionist at the information desk got a look of her.”
“Do you think she is involve with our string of bad luck lately?”
“It’s possible. I want to know who the other driver was and what the vehicle they were using was.”
“I just want to find out who they were.”
Then there is the sound of an explosion and the door being busted in “Police, get down on the floor, NOW!”
Katlain hears the doorbell ring as she about to continue the audio. She pauses it and grab some money out of her purse. She turns the outside camera on to see who it was and saw the delivery driver. She heads towards the door and opens it.
She pays the delivery driver and give him a five-dollar tip. Once she has her food, she goes back to the recording and listens to it, while eating her dinner. She listens as the corrupted cop is arrested and the guy he was talking too was as well. She checks the location of the other members and saw a few running. The leader she saw his car heading towards their club house. She wonders what he is going to do. She watches as other members car head towards their headquarters as well.
She brings the bugs she planted there online, so she could hear what was going on inside.
“Here, they’re going to be here soon.” She could hear people moving around.
“Make sure all the weapons are loaded and ready. You guys take your positions.”
Katlain grabs her burn phone and text Detective Harrison. She warns him about the ambush he is about to walk into at their headquarters.
Detective Harrison:
Detective Harrison was on his way with SWAT towards the White Supremist when his cell phone beeps. He looks at it and see a text message had been sent to him. He read the message.
“Be careful, they know you are coming and are setting a trap.”
Detective Harrison text back “Who is this and how do you know?”
Katlain:
“I’m a friend and the person who sent you all the information. Be careful. They are mining the road that leads towards their compound and have snipers waiting for you.”
Detective Harrison reads the text.
“Are you on site?”
Katlain:
“No, I have their place bug and I am listening to them.”
Detective Harrison:
“You have their place bugged? Can you tell me how many are there?”
Katlain:
“I can’t tell you exactly, but there are at least twelve cars there. So, almost at least seventy-two people at most.”
Detective Harrison:
“Thank you.”
Detective Harrison looks towards the other officers “they have a trap waiting for us. The road leading up to their compound has been mined. They have sniper’s set-up around their area and at least seventy-two people waiting for us armed to the teeth.”
“How do you know this, Detective?” The Leader of the SWAT team look towards him.
“My informant has the place bugged. They just sent me the information.” Detective Harrison looks toward the SWAT leader.
Katlain’s Garage:
Katlain felt guilty and couldn’t let Detective Harrison face these guys along. She gets up and heads back towards the garage and changes into a black jumpsuit, combat boots and put on the bullet proof vest she has. She cuts the lights off and grab the sniping rifle and a few other guns she took and hop into her supped up mustang. She raves the engine as the garage door raises up.
Katlain guns the engine and closes the garage door as she tears down the street towards Detective Harrison’s location.

Looks like there is going to
Looks like there is going to be "a hot time in the old town tonight, especially in and around the warehouse HQs of the bad guys. This being brought on by the SWAT, regular police and Katlain. I rather see a little sniping happening on some of them who are out to kill the police officers.
Not a good idea.
I hope Katlain doesn't do more than observe from a distance, or possibly chase after someone who is escaping. Otherwise, she is likely to get hit by friendly fire.
I like this particular story. Not as much as Hatter's stories, but close. Thank you.
I truly love the story, but!
I spend most of the time with the chapters translating wrong words, misspelled words and words with the tenses left out.
Sniping
That's a whole lot of defenders to go against!!.. Way too many variables to make for an easy completion....?.

Hitting the fan
It's hitting the fan now, with some not knowing it's heading their way.
She has to stay under the radar with the detective or there'll be more questions she'd rather not answer.
Taking her sniper rifle with her is proof one or more of the bad guys will not have to worry about breakfast.
Others have feelings too.
