I know that this is way off topic, but I beg you to indulge me for a few moments. For those who really know me, one of my obsessions is to try to figure out the real nature of what I believe to be the intelligence who created all this. I must shamefully admit that at times everything seems incredibly chaotic and mostly evil. But in my quiet moments I know that perhaps I am just not sophisticated to understand everything.

I emailed ABC Austrailia, asking to purchase it, and got the following response:

I did not allow them to take pictures of me because I have been told to behave at my mosque and not speak of it. So, I went there in a knee length skirt, leggings and a loose top sans headcovering so I would not embarass them. I felt half naked. I do not like leading a double life.

Gad! I have been asked to sit on a Discussion Panel to talk about how to help T folk in the Portland area. God folks, can you think of anyone less suited for this? You all know about my acerbic comments and nasty point of view on the subject.

Now, I am rightly and truely frightened. Now, I have a responsibility to act er well, responsibly. :( What am I to do? Maybe I should just wear a gag.

HELP someone, anyone! SCREAM!!!!

Well, the Hard Drive on my 7 year old Dell Laptop is making Death Knell noises, the screen resolution keeps changing, and I can't get on my Bank because of Security Certificate problems, so I think that the old Gel is about to give up the ghost.

I'll likely just go get one of those $250 "Netbook" to tide me over. I found that I can run an auxiliary Screen and Keyboard. I am in the process of saving my pictures and other documents to my 300 Gig stand alone HD, so I really am not too concerned.

I was standing at the Bus Stop yesterday, and saw a thin, 20ish looking, woman standing there reading a book. She had shoulder length black hair,wore a flowered blue slim dress that covered her shoes, and had a Toreador length little green jacket over it.

I hate for this to turn into a range war, but Amazon seems to be getting pretty blatant about forming "Unholy Alliances". I am feeling pretty cranky right now. Here is the email that I sent them.

My Dermatology Doctor is interested in this family of tests in an effort to resolve a scalp condition I have developed that causes bloody lesions there. It is frustrating that she seems unfamiliar with the changes in Endocrinology that T folk experience.

I don't know what the Cable TV channel lineups are from state to state, but if you have LOGO TV, 139 for me, it may be interesting for you. It seems to be a GBLT channel. I am watching a program right now that features a dozen or so 20 somethings who are going to live together as they are trained to be performers. One of them is a rather pretty transwoman. It is coed housing. I am wishing the transgirl was a little more confident. Really, that is the only tip off that she is trans. It is like looking in the mirror for me. Hope this works for you.

I just finished Tiffany Shar's "Daring to hope". It really gave me pause to reflect. Don't miss it.

I am considering throwing the towel in on much of what I do; giving some of it up as a lost cause. So that leaves me with much time. Years ago, I was very interested in Astronomy and am thinking of taking it up again. Starting very modestly, my dream scope would be a 14" with an astronomical drive and a very nice CCD camera on it. I know that many very high quality Reflectors have been built in a garage; even hand grinding the Mirror.

Can anyone offer me some good advice?
