A Cracker Barrel Christmas

“A Cracker Barrel Christmas”

Plot starter:

Nichole Armitage works at the local Cracker Barrel—the hangout for the much older crowd—and she befriends an old man who would like to fix her up with his grandson. At the same time, her brother and his family (wife and three kids) come to visit and he’s visibly not happy that his parents and Nichole kept her transition a secret from him.

What if I'm the One

Ever since being a part of the "One Dozen Roses" anthology I contemplated if I could get my characters together to talk. I decided to go with the guys in each story and allow them to drop (even more) of their defenses and we get to hear what happened after their perspective stories.
The seven are forced to go to group therapy due to various issues: Matt, for example, has to take it as a part of his probation; Spencer, because he was found floating in the Spokane river after jumping from a bridge.

Jazeta Amber Daniels...assistance request

When I originally wrote the screenplay for "Return to Innocence" I had the main character having to choose between the "good guy" and the "lost guy"
The good guy was Alex Foxx, a soon-to-be freshman in college who Jazz meets when he accidentally clotheslines her a a store. He's the all-round good guy who parents love
The lost guy was Kris Geremehl, her former boyfriend who has grown up over the years. They share a secret of a past abortion. Jazz's parents forced her and he didn't come to her rescue--not that he could do too much as a thirteen year old.

The Duel

Back in the 1990's I heard this game soundtrack at the local BX and tried to think of a different, and high school rendition of the plot and started writing a plotline of two enemies who work to acquire their driver's licenses before the summer was over. Originally, it dealt with two guys...but, how would it be if two teenage girls were in a battle to be road-worthy before the other?

One Dozen Roses

Join a dozen Roses as they attend the SWEET Conference (South Western Exposition for the Embetterment of Transwomen/Transpeople, depending on who you ask.) Rose Gallagher is a registrar for the conference and notices that there are 12 Roses in attendance. On a whim, she contacts them and suggests a meeting of the Roses to share a bit about their choice of the name Rose.

Please help me to decide....

I really need help in reigning in what to actually try to work on...another author informed me that I have too many irons in the fire.

I know, in the end it should be my decision...but I think I need a push off the diving board to actually finish at least ONE project before jumping to another.

So...
I’ve prepared a list of titles...and if I could get a comment or two, three, or four...on which one to buckle down on and complete:

“the best damn thing” for free

It’s on the site, but, starting Sunday the 7th of June until the 11th, the ebook for “the best damn thing” will be free on Amazon.

Not a lot has been changed from the version on the site, with the exception of some naming and grammar errors.
I am trying to work on the plot points for the continuation, “Sweet, but Psycho” (a sample of it is here on BC)

To Be a Different Someone...sale

I’ve placed my second book on sale for .99 for the next five days. I decided that it needed to be be refined to remove some formatting issues (and there were plenty of those....and there may be some that remain...sorry) and to place the chapter titles back into the text as they were removed due to possible “infringements” in the original text.

I removed some filler words...not all of them, since I speak in a similar matter, so will my characters.

What do to with a short story trilogy

When I completed writing “The Best Damn Thing” I thought I would just set it aside but only a day later I had the start of a continuation of the storyline through the eyes of another character.
And then today, I wanted to go further with a third version.

So the three are:
The Best Damn thing. —Michaela Leigh
Sweet But Psycho —Anthony Cox
Good For Me. —Randy Cox

The Best Damn Thing

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read through “TBDT”.
I am working on the final chapter, “Keep Holding On” and, unlike other times, it will be posted as complete instead of in pieces.

Afterwards, I will need to re-work on chapter one due to the changes made during the course of the storyline.

Thank you again.

MooneShadows on Amazon

MooneShadows Is now live on Amazon.

I placed a thank you to all of the readers on BCTS on the special thanks page.
I am still finding small errors...good thing I had a haircut yesterday, otherwise, I would be pulling it all out as I see a missing period or a form instead of form.

Story removals

I regret that Amazon has sent me a “nice” e-mail that they have detected my stories on the site...so...I regret I will need to have them removed.
I have contacted Erin about the issue.

The following stories will be removed from the site:
To Be a Different Someone
Who I am
A Window to Your Heart
Bloomsday
Desert Rose
