“Cliffhanger” was a script I wrote but lost due to a flash drive incident...I forgot which one was I deleting and lost a LOT of writings. This deals with a girl, Aylesa Wysax (everyone has a "w" in the name, as this was one of several slave colonies) who lives as a slave of the mountain town of Wycliff. Wycliff is held aloft by anti-gravity engines and the use of the ore they mine, “chordata”-a stone with magnetic properties that when a current is applied, it can float. Aylesea, not wanting to live in the mountains after the death of her parents, breaks up with her longtime girlfriend, a blind girl named Asti, and perfects a set of hand-held magnetic repellers in order to grapple onto the supply ship that brings ore back to the kingdom of Tyrian.

Once she is on the ground, she is sent to meet the newly crowned prince who cannot believe slavery exists within the kingdom but is also too busy, along with his advisors to care as they are in the rumblings of a war with the neighboring kingdom and demand she assists with the completion of the “Leviathan”: a carrier airship, along with the “Solaris” attack planes.

Music tracks and chapters were based on songs by Cusco, The Vengals and The Prodigy.

for your imagination, here is kind of, a break down of a "perfecting the grapplers" montage.
The story takes place in a steampunk kind of world (inspired from the game "Panzer Dragoon Saga" and "Final Fantasy")

Music: Montezuma
group: Cusco

Aylesea’s house/workshop: It’s a mess of electrical and metal parts. She works with a bulky harness and wiring on her hands and arms, connected to a large battery and chordata ore.

:55 She competes attaching everything and powers the system with sparks and an aura surrounding her.

1:06 she throws the grappler beam out and it pulls her instead, unfortunately, onto the mountain side.

Cut to--

1:20 She walks outside, the strain of the device hurts, but...

1:38-She is able to float a few feet above the ground before the system decouples from her back .

1:47 and flies into the sky—never to be seen again....

2:07 Back to the drawing board as she miniaturizes the grapplers and places several sensors and switches on her fingers along with pieces of ore, on her knees and boots.

2:20 She powers the system up with confidence and smiles for the first time a long time.

2:38- climbing a mountain by only using the refined grappler beams, swinging back and forth

3:03 at the mountaintop overlooking the village

3:15 she dives feet first off a mountain and--

3:26: fires the beams, and swings min a high arc and then navigating under the village’s AG engines and turbines by working like Spider-Man

3:55 using the repeller mode, she rockers herself into the air and, with careful timing of her hands, walks on the air. She does a flip or two because she can.

4:10 the repulses fail when a large device strikes her (the earlier model from a few weeks before) and she falls, but crosses her arms across her body, creating a shield ball around her that floats slowly down—as it is affected by the chordata ore in the surrounding mountains.

4:25 She stands outside of her house and looks in the distance as the supply ship comes into view.

4:53 her eyes narrow on the ship
