Between One Step and the Next

Alexander Montgomery, named after two famous generals joins the army to become a technician, not to actually fight anyone. He becomes very proficient in operating electronic weapons, including those of mass destruction and his cleverness brings him to the attention of a Special Operations department who want him to perform a 'job' for them - the snag is, they need a woman but he's the only one available.

Like Mother Like Son

Rall is a sorcerer's apprentice, and his master is abusive. One day he sends Rall to dispose of some dead magical items, have the smith melt them down for the precious metals and come back with the money. The smith has no value for an old rusty sword out of the pile, and tells Rall to keep it. Rall takes it happily, and plays at being a soldier with his friend Arron, who is training for the city guard. Rall decides to escape his abusive master with Arron's help, and that starts him on a wild adventure full of magic, transformation, excitement and eventually saving the world and getting the girl(s).

 
 
We`ve a good life together Richard and me, our four children are grown and themselves are now grandparents.

Today is Richards 75th Birthday and the whole family will be arriving in the next hour for the Usual celebrations.
