The Lay of Lindte the Old

Printer-friendly version

Lindte the Old
18??-1987

ODIN gave me fish,
The pink man gave a hook,
His rain killed my lake.

ODIN gave me fur,
The pink man gave a trap,
His dam drowned my land.

ODIN gave me duck,
The pink man gave a gun,
His becquerels burned my sky.

I am glad I am an old man,
Soon I can die.

The Lay of Lindte the Old

I am puzzled by the use of Odin's name, is it significant or an example of Deity.
