Today Is National Voter Resistration Day

Here in the U S we have a democratically elected republican form of government with a constitution enabling us to generally have free and fair elections. The most important way for anyone to have any voice in government is to VOTE! The only way to vote is to BE REGISTERED! If you are not registered get registered. Make sure you follow the qualifications in your state. Also ask your neighbors if they are registered, get them registered and urge them to vote. The country you save may be your own.

Muffin the Cat Died Yesterday (Saturday about 1:30AM)

My cat, Muffin, died yesterday morning from complications of cancer. She not only owned me. She owned others in the Evil Witch/Little Kids Kamp family including Holly Hart, Maggie the Kitten and Debby Bishop (the superintendent of the Little Kids Kamp schools). She was a very loving cat. She loved to climb anything she could reach. She will be sorely missed.

Notes:
I still sometimes think I hear her meow.
She was one of the ancestors of the sabertooth cat (Felix incisor) at Little Kids Kamp.

What Have We Done? 2

Today is the official 75th anniversary of the beginning of WW2. It is celebrated world wide with strong countries conquering smaller ones and the murdering of peoples whose only crime is what they believe. Guess we have learned nothing in 75 years.

Unhappy Anniversary---What Have We Done?

Today, 28 July 2014 is the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WW1. Next month is the 75th anniversary if WW2 and the 200th anniversary of the writing of the “Star Spangle Banner” which was near the end of the War of 1812 (US)/American War of 1812-15 (UK). We are in the mist of the 200th anniversary of Napoleon’s exile at Elba, the 160th anniversary of the Crimean War and 150th anniversary of the siege of Richmond and Petersburg, which virtually ended the US Civil War. The siege had trenches that were repeated in WW1 with disastrous results.

Forced Fem, A Possible Reason

I didn't understand forced fem until a group of TG friends joined Holly Hart and me at our home. Of the nine of us we were all M2F, except two of us. One was a F2M and the other was apparently male. The male liked to cross dress and preferred forced fem. But we weren't going to forcing him or anybody else. The F2M remarked to me he was the only male in the group.

I thought about what he said and realized that our male friend was really more of a transsexual than he admitted to himself. The problem with him is fear.

The Orange

Once there was a Seder headed by a female Rebbe. On the Seder plate was a crust of bread. A disciple asked, "Why...?" She told the story of Puah, a girl from a family of women, asking her Rebbe "Is there room in Judaism for a lesbian?" He said, "There is as much room for lesbianism as there is a crust of bread on the Seder plate." That is why this Rebbe had a crust on the Seder plate. -- based on the Oberlin College Haggadah.

Early Movie With TG Character

I saw on TMC one of my favorite movies: Little Big Man. It has a character that was obviously transgendered: "Little Horse." She was accepted by the tribe as female. It was not a "big deal." However the general Western society is "too hung up" on sex causing problems for the GLBTQ communities.

Note: Little Horse was portrayed in a very honest way for the time and culture.
