A series of tallish tales told by a group of old men in the tap room of their local pub the Green Dragon during their regular Saturday nights out. The stories start when the story telling has already become an established tradition. Sasha Vetrov, a Siberian ex KGB officer, is the acknowledged master story teller who has a way of telling almost true stories that is thoroughly entertaining. Gladys the barmaid, married to Pete one of the men, keeps them supplied with drink, prevents things from getting out of hand and supplies the Saturday night supper towards the end of the session. Currently the group comprises those that are named in the tales plus numerous others. Doubtless as things progress we shall come to know more of them. We flew back to Rio on Tuesday morning and went straight back to Maria’s place where we made love for the rest of the day. On Wednesday, she took me shopping again and we came back with bags and bags of new clothes. She was incredibly generous. Wednesday afternoon I modelled my purchases in between bouts of love making that lasted the rest of the day and most of the night.

On an Earth very like our own where people, known as Exemplars, who have extraordinary abilities fight their villainous counterparts, called Aberrants, to keep Earth and its people safe, it is the government agency known as AEGIS' duty to protect the general population and keep heroes from stepping over the line. When a series of growing threats rise out of the shadows will AEGIS and it's exemplar allies be able to keep the darkness at bay or will humanity fall before the onslaught of this new threat?

They gently took me by the hand and went down into a private elevator. “The test is simple, we put you into a magic like hologram world. You will be playing specific characters and we will score you based on it. While it may be a hologram world it will look and feel real.” I was confused thinking how advanced technology that would mean. Soon however we entered a girly looking laboratory and I was asked to step into a massive looking dome. The inside was blank but I could tell it wouldn’t be for long. The queens sat at control panels and I heard the words “let the test begin”
