Clair watches as the rain comes down outside. She was told by Andrew that she could take the day off. He would handle the horses and such this morning. She walks into the small living room in just her nightshirt and panties. She has noticed, her chest was hurting her every time she moved. She also noticed the panties she bought before she started working at the ranch were getting tight on her.
She goes into the small kitchen and fixes a protein shake, Honey wanted her to take. She had to admit, the shake tasted nice. She drinks the first shake and makes a second one. She heads back into the small living room and put a movie on to watch.
She was lucky that day her water pump broke. She was lucky to find a job and a place to live as well. She didn’t know anything about working on a ranch, but Andrew didn’t care. He and his men were willing to teach her.
She got her first paycheck from Erin and it was more then she thought it would be. She saw how much Andrew took out for the cost of the parts for her car. She was surprised at the hourly rate Andrew was paying her as well.
The girl that had been taken to the hospital was back and staying up at the main house. The motorcycle that had been laying on top of her, was parked in the same garage as her vehicle. She was surprised to see a hi-tech Tron bike in there. She asked Andrew who it belonged to and found out that Erin had constructed it. Erin had a few vehicles she was working on or had been completed.
After she finishes the second shake. She snuggles under the throw blanket on the sofa and watches Pulp Fiction. Even though she has seen the movie a few times. She still spots things she missed in the movie.
Inside the Main House:
Mace wakes-up and look at the pink cast on his right arm and right leg. His left arm had a bandage wrapped around it. His vision was a little blurry and he was wearing a white silky nightgown.
He looked at the foot of the bed and notice there was a dresser drawer. It had a huge mirror mounted on it. He could see a blurry image of himself, but he knew it wasn’t his image, but he's dead daughter looking back at him. The demon had changed him into his beloved daughter.
He balls his fist and tries to stop the tears sliding down from his eyes. He can’t stop crying as all the emotions he kept bottles up, come up. He grabs his pillow and screams into it.
He has never felt the way he is feeling right now. After a while, he manages to get his emotions under control. He notices everything he had on him when he came through the portal was sitting on the nightstand next to the bed.
There was a knocking sound coming from the bedroom door. He turns to look at the door as it opened. He watches as a woman with neon blue hair comes walking into the room.
Erin figured she would check on the young girl. She knew the girl use to be a grown man and that he was a well-known Hunter. He was from the good branch of the Hunter organization.
“How are you feeling, Mr. Lockley?” Erin walks over to the bed.
“You know who I am?” Mace looks at the short blue hair woman.
“Yes, it was on your driver's license.” A playful smile appears on Erin’s face.
Mace just shakes his head back and forth. He looks at Erin “your file didn’t say anything about having a sense of humor.”
“Well, sometimes people can be surprising. Is there anyone I can call for you?” Erin knew Mace was going to need time to adjust to his new
body.
“No, there’s no one you can call for me. Valgag made sure of that. He killed everyone important to me.” Mace wishes he could kill the demon again.
“How about your organization? Wouldn’t they take you?” Erin was curious.
“They would retire me and study me to see what the demon did to me.”
“So, they wouldn’t let you leave, wherever they put you?”
“No. Once you’re there, you’re there for life or until they kill you.”
“Well, until you’re fully healed. You’re welcome to stay here. Plus, I would never turn a young girl out either.” Erin saw how young Mace looked right now.
“Thank you.” Mace tries to keep from crying again.
“You’re welcome. Is there anything I can get you or do for you?”
“It seems I am going to need glasses. I knew my daughter had bad eyesight, but I didn’t know she was this bad off.”
“We can accommodate that.” Erin figures they can help Mace out.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. Now, lunch will be around noon time. Is there anything your daughter was allergic too?”
“No, she loved eating everything.” Mace knew his daughter loved food.
“Okay. Well if you need anything, here’s a buzzer to let us know.” Erin pulls a remote out of her pants pocket. She hands it to Mace.
Mace accepts it. He has a lot to think about. He watches as Erin leaves the bedroom.

A big adjustment
indeed but I think things will work out. As for Claire I think the proteen shakes are laces with high levels of estrogen to help Clare become a better woman.
