I have to say, the lack of entries so far has broken my heart. :( I cannot try any harder to get any entries. For my December contest, I only have 1 entry. If it stays like that, might have it clear all $2100 of the prize money :/
I am so sorry, to the entire community. I don't know what else to do. Contest started July 31. Here it is almost the end of September.

I often work more to deadlines than start dates.
I've been trying to finish other books and I try to put the same effort into things I do here. I just submitted to the September contest with two days to go. I'll try to get something in, but it will be a while.

I have a story under development for posting in December. From other comments, I suspect that I'm not alone here.
Now... if it was 20th Dec and there was only one entry, then I'd start to get worried.

To have a contest, particularly one in honour of our major corporate contributors for years, with so few entries, does not show our site in a good light.
Come on, there are some great writers out there who can still post a story.
Contest timing
Perhaps I read the contest rules wrong but I thought the rules stated you had to enter the Halloween and Christmas stories between a certain time frame (October and December). I have a Halloween story I'm planning to enter if I can rid myself of a writer's block I've been fighting for months. I know you have three contests but it's a lot for anyone to enter all three and I suspect many of us have been saving ourselves for the October contest as Halloween and transformational stories go together like peas and carrots.
