.... Double hooray!

Crying is all right in its own way while it lasts. But you have to stop sooner or later,
and then you still have to decide what to do. - C.S. Lewis

Yayness!

Oh! Funtimes!

Now to see if I can try a theme and/or setting I've not done before, just to see how far my imagination might reach :)
Hmm... I feel an idea percolating...

The hamster wheels in my head...

Submitted by Ragtime Rachel on Tue, 2015/03/10 - 5:55pm

...are definitely turning. This is definitely one I want to participate in--I need that hundred dollars. The state cut my food stamps to the bone last fall, and I'm barely hanging on.

However, it would be easier if I had someone to bounce ideas off of (I promise they won't hurt too much. They're Nerf ideas).

Inspiration

Submitted by Jennifer Brock on Tue, 2015/03/17 - 10:20am

I have an idea for a concept, but no thoughts on what the actual plot of the story would be, and I don't know if I've got the time to research a setting.

So I'll share this piece of news I found in the hope that someone else can get a story out of it:

'Vacation Breasts' May Be Next Big Thing in Plastic Surgery(link is external)

The New York plastic surgeon who developed the "insta breast," a saline injection into the breast that gives the impression of implants for 24 hours, is now working on a method that would last two to three weeks.
Seems like an ideal piece of medical technology for this contest.

Kindle

Submitted by Arina on Fri, 2015/04/17 - 2:12pm

I have tried to help out as best as I can by buying ebooks from authors that do post on the site. The layout for this site looks nice on the web, but for some reason when I view it from my Kindle it does not fit the screen at all. The adds cover up quite a bit of things when I try to keep it at the natural size of the screen. I use the Kindle Fire HD 8" before they changed where the power button is on the back of the Kindle. I hope something can be done to fix that cause I do most of my reading from it. I hate how the pics that get used with the story show being smaller then normal thumbnails, as well. I am sorry if your funds aren't that much like you hope them to be. I have tried various ways to get you some of the money when I can. I am unemployed and don't get very many chanes to even get gift cards so that I can buy ebooks in the first place let alone any that might be from authors from this site. Best of luck to you and I hope something can be done to help this site appear better on the Kindle Tablet that I use.

Missed It

I'm only about 80% done with my Summer Contest Story.

That's 80% more done than I would have been without this contest.

Thank you for inspiration.
