Well, I've been spending a day converting doc files into lit files, to save space and to give me a more portable format for stories here.

It's fun. So whatever.

Stories Observations

Well, having become a TS author, I have to say that I like it. I find myself checking my stories about 40 times a day (literally) and seeing how many times they have been read, how many votes that have been garnered, and if any comments have been made.

I'm finding out that I LOVE comments.

I'm a bit disappointed that the most recent chapter, Sissy's Debut, hasn't seemed to be as well received as the other chapters.

I do have more that needs to be written. I know where the next two or three parts are going to say, and the story is shaping nicely.

May I say....

...how shocked I am that the Sissy series is getting as much good feedback as it is? I'm thrilled and gratified. I was truthfully expecting that it wouldn't be that well received, mainly because of the improbability of it.

But apparently there are people who like it. Wow.

Well, we are moving in with friends for a couple months while our application for Section 8 housing goes through. That's the three of us, our roommate is another story, and the four feets are going to be displaced for a while.

Currently sitting in a house with no water, and no heat. The floor heaters are doing a decent job keeping us comfortable, but I want my water back on.

I downloaded and paid for "Shannon's Course" from the lulu store for here.

I'm going to be talking about the plot, so if you haven't read it, don't come in here and read the rest.

Late-Night Muse

Well, my late night muse has struck again. I was just kicked in the head to write the third story in the series of Sissy stories. However, it's 2 in the morning, and I was up at 6 AM this morning.

I'm taking a sleeping pill and going to bed. I'm freaking tired. I'll probably have it up at some point this weekend. This one is going to be a bit more thoughtful, a bit more realistic and a bit more meaty.

The tone of this blog

I think I want to share just a bit more here. I have several blogs around the Internet, one for my religious stuff, one for my personal stuff, one for memes and so on, one for me as Joy and this one. But here I think I can open up some.

See, there's a lot of pain in here. I don't know how I as Joy came out as well adjusted as I did, mainly because of some of what has happened. Just like the character in my stories, I worked my backside off to fit into the world of maleness. Just like that character, I now feel trapped with no way out.

My Chief Editor

My editor, read my wife, read both the stories I submitted here and she edited them to make it better. Basically she cleaned up the language, because when I write I do it stream of consciousness.

About my story

I wrote that and used it to get a lot of crap off my chest. Yes, most of it is true. I do come from a broken home, my father did leave at 15, I was considered the man of the family (raised Mormon, so any male is automatically better than mere girls), so on.

I was in home ec. I could sew and cook, and I loved the gingham apron. I was one of three boys in there.

I did have to conform. I was in Scouts, I did play things like Army with them. I had Action Figures and cars.

and I'm kind of melancholy because of it. It got some stuff out, but there's no solution.

It's called "One Sissy's Story" and should be on the front page.

Go rip it to shreds. I'm ready.

Stories and I

I have to tell you all, I hate writing dialog. Really. I don't mind writing, but the back and forth between people, the conversation and the "" marks really makes me go nuts.
