The site was out for more than an hour today due to movement of equipment at our ISP. They apparently unplugged us in the move, but we're back up now.

They will be doing more equipment moving this week so we may experience more outages.

Sorry about that.

Cathy called. She's home now and recovering still, grateful that no one will be waking her up for her sleeping pill now. :)

Our bank account is empty. We're almost a month behind on where we should be for operating funds.

For the last four months, we have been short of funds at the end of each month and borrowed from the next month to keep going. That mule is dead and will not cross the finish line. I just put money of my own into the company account to cover for a few days

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US and Happy Thursday to everyone else. :)

I'm leaving for a four-day vacation in about an hour, going to San Diego for Comic-Con Special Edition, first con I've gone to in more than four years. It's just a nearly straight ride down the freeway and I have a hotel only a few blocks from the Convention Center.

I'm fully vaccinated and boosted and everyone else has to be to get inside so it should be pretty safe.

Pete deals with Jake, his family and Megan. But there are a lot of questions not yet answered.

Pete knows what's wrong. Jake is injured, the team the Lions are playing Friday is tough, Joanna is a problem, but besides all that...well, Pete just does not want to have to think about it.

Unable to visit with friends, two of whom were out of state, I decided that I had time to tackle a big project of a sort I had been thinking of for sometime.

It's all over but the goodbyes...

Kissy has decisions to take and plans to make and...sniff! Goodbye, Kissy, we love you!

Wounded, Kissy has some decisions to make.

Daphne is chained with a group of other girls and marched through the streets of Themis to her fate.

Taking a day off from seeing sights o sit by the pool and try to update the site, the little day to day stuff that is the equivalent of slopping the hay and pitching the chickens.

I've been told that Florida is hot, well so is the CA desert. The difference is between baking and boiling. At least in CA, it may be cooler in the shade.

It sure is green here tho, but the place I'm staying is infested with toons. Friendly for the most part.

I just learned today that Maggie Finson, one of BigCloset's best and most popular authors, passed away November 17, 2020.

She had been ill and I had thought of her frequently of late, but had not checked on her for some months.

She is greatly missed by me and my thoughts go out to her family.

She was a friend as well.

"Pete" Petersen had what it took to play football— then he woke up one morning and he didn't have it anymore. He had something else. Would they even let him play football--let HER play football?

I'm home and the site did not burn down while I was gone. I didn't take a computer or even my tablet, just my phone so I really wouldn't be tempted to do my usual tinkering and fixing. Piper and Cat kept me informed and I did pick in a few times, but not much.

It's good to be home, even if an errant forgotten onion had a surprise for me after apparently three days too many in a cabinet. Whew!
