Dear Diary
Alright. That didn't go so well.
Mom dropped me off at Matthew's house and I knocked on the door.
And knocked again.
And listened to them say stuff I couldn't make out.
And stood on the porch.
And it started to rain.
And knocked again.
And then Mom showed up and picked me up, sopping wet.
I watched the curtains jerk as we drove off, like someone was watching me.
What am I gonna do?

How long
Just how long are you going to make us wait, dear Edeyn. They are bound to talk again, I mean they are in the same school, it's not as if they never see each other. And Matthew is bound to let his guard down at some point.
Another idea, why can't Courtney's friends can't help. Talk to Matthew and try to let him talk to Courtney. Or at least try to make him understand how hurtful he is at that point. I mean, even if Courtney is a freak, she did nothing to deserve him turning her down like that, without even a word.
In the previous entries, I was happy to see that Courtney might have someone to care for and who would care for her, but now, it seems a very long way. Sad.
Waiting (im)patiently for tomorrow (or the day after, or ... depending on when the situation will start to change).

Oh jeez do I remember this... I feel so bad for her, I remember how it felt when that guy ditched me in the park to cry alone when he found out mew ;_;

I think Matthew will sort things out in his head and heart and realize he loves Courtney just fine. His whole life seems to be about bravery, self-honest & rejecting small minded bullsh*t. I could be mistaken, but it's what I see from his actions so far. And if he doesn't, his loss, the goober. Pretty scary there, Courtney's dark thoughts, hope she gets through this, whatever happens...

Teen - boys and girls...
can both be fragile... Specially when their "world view" comes crashing down. SOME are able to rebuild their view - larger and better than it was before, sadly some, cannot.
