As this is likely my last chance to post this side of the various religous festivals!

Well i was more than a bit miffed on Sunday, i had loads to tell you and for it to disappear into the ether really was upsetting. I'm not going to try to rekindle any of that today but i have news to disseminate.

So Monday i spent largely sat on a coach travelling from Brunel country to Gods Own County, i've had worse journeys, i've had better, i was delivered safely which was the main thing.

Tuesday i had a Chrimbo parcel to deliver but nothing else so once said delivery was made i set off on a bit of a hike. Down into the Sheaf Valley, past Beauchief Abbey then onto Abbeydale with a quick squint at the Industrial Hamlet at Abbeydale before entering more of the Abbey's woodlands. Through Abbeydale, and up to Banner Cross before dropping once more to Ecclesall with a short stop to acquire a decent chip butty, more chips than enough with a decent size breadcake to wrap around the potato when you get that far!

Best part of seven kilometres meant my feet were getting a bit weary so it was back to Father's gaff by bus.

Today has mostly been centred around taking said parent for a hair cut, another 3km by the time we were back, he was on his sit on chair thing of course! This afternoon i've been working on getting the final part of the 28th Gaby volume up on Kindle, its live now so you can find it by clicking the image below!

So to the upcoming week. Tomorrow i'm going for a bit of a hike up onto the moors above Sheffield, looks like it might be a bit wild but it should be dry, Then Friday i'm off to play 'Santa' with my Grandson up in Leeds, more travelling on a day i'd prefer not to but it was really my only option without travelling north earlier or delivering after the event.

I no sooner get back and we'll set off, just after midnight, to travel to Germany for the Christmas period. Experience suggests that internet access will be somewhat patchy at the hotel so i don't expect to be able to post again until we get back. That'll be on the 29th most likely.

So there we are, have a great festive season, stay safe and think happy thoughts,
Madeline Anafrid

Happy all Holidays,

... and safe travels, happy there & safe return!

PS: It's 'safer' to compose posts. blogs, story, long-stuff on one's own machine, rather than on the destination machine.

This cuts out "points of of failure" for document loss between you and 'there'. ...

And cuts down on also having your 'gruntles' cast into the 'Aether'.
