Would it all be spoiled if I glomped you too vigorously? =)
*Slow tail swish* : )
Kylie said platonic glomping is fine
giggles.
Be careful
Just be careful of the shoulders.
Plerase forgive this cross-ponder,
What the ---- is 'glomping'? I suspect it has affectionate feline connotations but perhaps it's got cross-pond origins.
LOL Bevs.
= )
It simply means aggressively affectionate hugging. It often involves leaping through the air at high speed, and the object of your affections ending up underneath you on the ground. ^_^
It is not regular slang, more special usage.
It is not a main stream word it comes from Anime Culture (Japanese cartoons and fans of such) Although it has migrated somewhat in to use as one of those chat room or texting phrases used to convey an emotion or virtual action.
It is a "Neko" (Anime Style Cat Person) thing, or originated as such, an overly enthusiastic mix between a "cat pounce" and a "human hug", of course you don't have to be a Neko to Glomp someone. Sort of a fly tackle hug.
