I had a good conversation with Samantha's mom last night.

I was still stressing over what happened with the doctor's office she cleans, and she basically told me to not worry about it at all, that she didnt blame me for not getting the bathroom up to health department standard, and she was working out a way to take care of things without needing my help.

I'm often very quick to mention when she does stuff I dont like, so I wanted to make sure I gave her props. She gave me more grace than I had expected, and much more than I deserve.

Now, I can focus on work, which will get even more stressful as of Friday when we go to being open to the public 24 hours a day.

The best part of this year is that I now have my female name on my nametag, as opposed to last year where I had to hide my nametag in my pocket so I wouldnt get outed as trans to every person who came into the store.

Having the right nametag will help a lot.
