If I needed more proof that I'm on the right path, the church that is holding the local Transgender Day of Remembrance called me to find out if I was going, and the lady also let me know that the church will have a trans paster in the new year ...
Sounds like a green light to me, don't you agree?

These seems like fortuitous happenings!
Hi Dottie!
Yes! It does!
You were having a crisis about your faith (as I understand it), then, before many of us wrote to you, Tels told us your Church called you and you were OK. And what a Church! I've been to a (mainly) lesbian and gay oriented church, Metropolitan Community Church, I think, but never such a pro-trans church as yours. I think you are fine!
So, what's your plan for losing weight? Did you say it was a secret? I guess you have cold, snow and very short days to deal with. Are you off work during daylight? Have you ever done crosscountry skiing? I used to do that when I lived in Maine. I'd do it in daylight on weekends and also on this golf course near us in the evenings; it was pretty well lighted! You could probably get skis pretty cheap at a thrift store. Exercising out in the cold can burn lots of calories.
Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee
I'm glad!
Maybe we can all (even if just a jot or a note) post a word about the upcoming Transgender Day of Rememberance. I will, since it's something that has been transformative in my life, and I hope others may show how the day relates to their own journeys as well. You remain in my prayers always, and I am so glad you've found a home.
Love, Andrea Lena
