I got a package from the clinic where, God willing, I will be getting my SRS done. While I could spend my time wishing and dreaming about the day I'm post-op, I've decided to take another approach. I'm going to enjoy the now, be grateful for what I have, and try my best to keep looking on the bright side of things. I will probably slip once in a while, and sometimes, I will suffer from depression or PTSD attacks, but I'm really going to do my best to keep my head up.
Wish me luck, okay?

Of course we wish you luck!
come to think of it, at least in the blogs I can see, this group is very supportive of anyone who needs a little or a lot. So was it necessary for you to ask for us to wish you luck! Of course it was! And lots of good luck will be yours as long as you live, and if you need more good luck, just ask!
Good luck, my friend
Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?

Hang in There
Transition and surgery isn't magic, but it sure does help get some serious dissonance out of the way, leaving you with the energy and perspective to deal with anything else you need to work through.

Best wishes!
I don't know much regarding SRS.. BUT, I do know that this is a major step in your life. You'll be in my thoughts as you take this step in your journey. Please, take care of yourself and realize that your family here at Big Closet want nothing but for you to be happy. HUGS!

Good Luck ^^
Relax and take care of yourself.
In my experience before or just after a surgery (or anything invasive and medical), those are the two things I forget first and that have the worst repercussions.
