But my bustline just had some redistribution occur.

My bust measurements had been 34, 38, 35. They are now 33, 38, 36.

In plainer terms, below the bust used to have a 34 inch circumference, at the bust, 38 inch, and above the bust 35 inch. Now, below the bust is a 33 inch circumference, at the bust is still 38 inches, and above the bust is now 36 inches.

Even plainer terms, I lost an inch from my chest (not bust!) and added it to my cleavage (not bust!).

My bra size is still 38B, but it APPEARS more prominent.

Something I found interesting while randomly surfing wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height#Average_height_aro...

Scroll down towards the bottom and you'll see this line:

U.S. 1.789 m (5 ft 10 1⁄2 in) 1.648 m (5 ft 5 in) White Americans, 20—39 Measured 2003—2006 [72]

I have mentioned I'm 5'5", right? And that my Pattengale character is also 5'5"? Trust me, I didn't know this when I did that!

Changes...

Changes happen - and - those number can change for any number of reasons. Including a half inch measurement error both times. (For example, if your below the breast measurement is actually 33.5 inches, then a half inch error could result in your 34/33 measurements.) Even without the error - moving the tape up/down on the body can result in a different measurement - even a small difference.

Be sure, I'm not questioning your numbers.

For what it's worth, it's best if someone ELSE measures you... The SAME someone else. You should also look at a three other measurements - the height above the belly button for each. That can change too. And, the measurements you took - need to be "horrizontal to the ground" at the same level of inhale/exhale (specially if you chest breath rather than tummy breath).

You CAN get taller... In the last year, I have gained an inch! So, you're 5'5" isn't "safe".

Good luck,
Anne

while it is true...

That it'd be best to let someone else measure me, there's no one I can trust at this point.

For what it's worth, I always measure three times to be absolutely certain the result I'm getting isn't a fluke, I also am very careful about getting it completely horizontal, and measuring the same way every time. I'm a super kinesthetic, "action" memory, so I really can do that.

Whether my measurements are exactly correct or not, I can't really know, but I do know I'm being consistent.

I'm also actually only wearing sports type bras that are one size fits many, so precise measuring isn't really important at this time, all that -REALLY- matters is consistency for keeping a record of changes.

I'm measuring everything I can possibly think of and checking against everything I can think of, since my changes are not being properly controlled by any doctors, so I'm trying to keep myself as safe as I can. I'm also sharing what's happening to me on here, both so I can hear input from those who've gone the traditional route, intentionally, and "compare notes", and also, because HHM is an untried "magic", I hope my experiences might prove helpful in starting to build up the currently lacking library of knowledge. If I keep a blog about the things that happen to me, it should help me recall more details if it ever becomes necessary.

About height changes, if anything, I think I might have gotten a little shorter, though I haven't measured... I'll get back with you on that. I'll be 26 years old on Sunday, unless height changes are a normal part of changed hormones, I should be done growing taller by now, and I wouldn't really expect to get shorter either. Doesn't really matter, I think, the wiki link was more an interesting link than intending to mean anything by it.

Filling Out

It's also possible that as your breasts grow larger, you have to place the tape lower on your ribcage to be below them. Breasts don't just grow out, they grow in diameter. You may want to pick up a 38-C, just to see how it fits now. You may also want to try a 36-C or -D. It's not clear to me that 38-B is your ideal size, although it might be in some brands.

I have every size bra from 38-A to 40-C. Most of them fit, with one set of forms or another.

the 38B size...

Is the result of using the calculator found here:

http://www.85b.org/bra_calc.php

I'm actually exclusively wearing one-size fits many sports bra's at this time, so precise accuracy isn't as important to me as consistency in measuring for change.

And in this case, it really is accurate to say I've gained more cleavage, while the bust circumference itself remained unchanged - you can see the difference.

Interestingly enough, with the boost in cleavage people are actually starting to notice and saying something to me when they hadn't noticed any other change before now... Or at least haven't mentioned it if they have.

Thank you for the interest though! I have been being careful to be directly below my breasts every time, directly at the widest part of my bust every time, and directly below my armpits every time. Only the final measurement doesn't ever change where I measure at, the below and at measures adjust as needed.
