Here in Switzerland, the big provider, state-run, is Swisscom, and their 'Net stuff is run out in the name Bluewin.
My eMail address is indeed a bluewin one.

But their home page publishes small news-item galleries.

This one is of interest to us here.... I will translate the German if you wish, but it doesn't add that much to the story, all of which is shown in the 7 photos.

Someone (i.e. SOMEONE - *wink wink*) scattered carpet tacks on the road during an ascent on the Tour de France which caused at least 30 punctures.

No wonder there has been a deafening silence recently.

Is Israel the up-and-coming Mecca?

Some of you may remember that the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest (that's a television Spectacular where the TV companies in each country in Europe (and also neighbours like Turkey, Israel and so on) select a totally crap song and then all 32 or whatever have a 'gala' night to select a winner) was won by the Israeli entry, a song called 'Diva' sung by a performer called 'Dana International'. To be of relevance here on this site, it will come as no surprise that she is an MtF Transsexual.

This news item on the main page of the big provider here in Switzerland.

An airline is opening up, and 4 of the latest recruits for cabin staff are TS!

The report is of course in German, and I don't have time right now to translate it all, but will do, probably tomorrow some time.

The airline chief is reported to be pleased and is wanting more TS employees.
