So here we are again...once again I find myself writing 10k words of a story in a few days like a mad (or madder) person. This is chapter 2, standard disclaimers apply, and more science realism than you can shake a stick at incoming.

Alright, so here we are again. For those of you waiting on Room in hell chapters, you may freely curse certain individuals on this site. You see, I was banging one out, all happy and content...but then I came here to read a few comments and motivate myself.

That is where the problems began; you see my muse was reading over my shoulder. So when I read a few comments that stated how rare space
operas were on this site...my muse was reading it too, and now she won't leave me alone! I was even writing one before (though none of you know it yet) and she still insisted!

Then she did it again when I read another post stating that SF fiction can't really be mixed well with proper science! She's determined I try both! She's crazy! A pox on all your houses with love, Nagrij.

P.S. enjoy, and if you can tell me which two story universes influenced this writing I'll give you internet cake. Maybe ice cream too.

Anyway, this little blurb has been in the back of my mind and hard drive for months, I debated releasing it...but what the heck, I'm a bit of a story purist, and Min is getting kind of loud again.

Surprise! another Halloween themed story from me, seems my muse hates my guts or something. This is a series of another world of mine, something just a bit left of center from where we are. Standard disclaimers apply. This one is just a touch dark, and likely to get darker, but hopefully it'll be interesting enough.

So here I am again. My muse and the other voices in my head are fickle, evil people, and aside from my Halloween contest story
won't allow me a moment of peace till I write this. So here it is, inflicted upon you to show you all that I am in fact, still alive. Standard disclaimers apply of course.

A new epic (and I do mean that in the true sense of the word) whateley style.

So here we are again; this one was a slog through a muddy field, it took some diligence to complete, because Fu is sitting on one side, Min on the other, and both are screaming in an ear. It's done though - expect ch4 of my other tale soonish.

But for now, its chapter 7, or as I refer to it; School dayZ. (That's school day Z...its a video game, look it up if you dare.)

I'm not dead, I promise! This one was like pulling teeth, despite appearances. Here we go with the the original, planned side stories...my intent was to write these all so they caught up with each other, but I realized that it would take far longer than I wanted, plus I had a few issues.

So..I present to you the first chapter in Ricky's story, feel free to enjoy the slight differences in perspective
(that was my intent) and if you would, respond to this informal poll if you would. Should I release the other chapters like this, or should I ball them up like I wanted to? the wait for new chapters is in your hands!

Now we get to why chapter 6 of my other tale was a bit late. I debated over how to do this, and finally decided this was the best way. Surprise!

Now to the serious part. I've no idea how it works for other writers (though I have my suspicions) but for me...I hear voices; my muse brings them to me, and they yell in my ear. Min's voice was the most insistent to start with, finally leading me to actually post/publish a story for the first time in years...but min isn't the only voice my muse brings to me. Now that Min has quieted down a little, I can hear the other voices my muse is tormenting me with.

The next most insistent voices are, another Whateley academy story, and this; what I call the ballad of Fu. The other Whateley story I hesitate to even start, as it's dark. Way too dark. So dark it makes a black hole look as bright as the sun dark. I might eventually write it but...dark. Yeah.

So that brings us to this. I thought to myself, if every other writer here has their own universe(it seems), why can't I? So sit back, relax, drink a beer, and enjoy. (note, I am not much for front side exposition in a story, so if you ask what's different about this universe compared to ours, you'll get your answers, just not immediately.)

Here I am again, with yet another point of view change. These things just keep coming!
