Nice start.
If this is anywhere near as good as your previous two short stories were this will be a good read.
Just hope it isn't as dark as they were but then they dealt with ... Can't say, would spoil them for those who did not read them. Those two were very powerful if short tales, both fairly dark. This one may end up lighter in mood/tone but equally worth the read.
She has found good friends in the girls. Now will mom understand?

I don't want to give away any details of this story, but I can promise that I plan to be writing this story for a while.
The same warnings as on The End and Sanctuary won't appear on Aurora, but there might be a side story that will have those warnings.
