The girl is giving him every sign that she likes him and he's still too dumb to ask her out.
Signs
There are guys who don't see the signs, and if they see them (or only a few) they interpret them incorrectly. So if Holly wants to have Glen then she should take the initiative (emancipitation and all).
BTW: I think Glen's last word should have been "Mom". >:->

Small corrections
Pic #5: Glen's left coat edge cuts through his left underarm;
Pic #6: in Holly's speech bubble the comma after "connected" should follow the apostrophe.
Clueless
Yes, Glen is a bit clueless
