His and Hers nicely done...

This was a very nicely done story of two friends making the same but different journey. I for one wish it could have been my story. Both embraced the coming together again.

Well Done

From either point of view.

An interesting story with a very successful way of displaying it

I really enjoyed comparing side-by-side the simultaneous points of view of the two characters. I don't know how it could be done within BCTS' normal style, but use of PDF really cracked it.
Well done

Side by Side

Oh, there's your comment Dave!
It was just a thing to show how perceive the thoughts of others differently.
Transition gives rise to so many and varied reactions.
I am thinking writing another using this device, looking at a mature person transition.

Sometimes...

Snarfles's picture

Sometimes Father Creator places us with exactly the people we need to help us overcome the obstacles of life... sometimes one of those obstacles is finding them... How boring it would be if everyone had it the same way...

Nicely told.

A nice, tender story :)

It took me a page or so to figure out that Rick is always on the left, and Bonnie (nee Brody) on the right.

Dialog and events told by each have small inconsistencies - exactly what happens with two people remembering the same events.

Not a problem, but instead makes the story much more interesting. We see what is important to each one.
