Are you feeling OK?
This one fits my current mood like a tee.

I know what you mean.
I hope you feel better.

Beautiful, hauntingly so.

A deep look into a mother's
A deep look into a mother's heart and a very sad ending. It was a story that can happen all too often and seems to actually do that. A big loving hug for you Katie. Janice
Somehow I knew..

ah, damn
I was all hopeful about a reconciliation, until the line about John lying on a metal table sunk in. Then I was all sad. Thanks for writing such a touching story. Maybe someone, somewhere, will read this and learn to accept a transgender / transexual family member or friend.
Thank you
Thank you for getting the point. I know that sometimes we come to the site to escape reality, but this struck me as an important message. There are a lot of parents out there throwing their kids to the wolves because they are transgender and they need to stop and think about the potential consequences. I know the suicide creeps up on people, part of that is by design. People are always under the allusion that they have more time and then one day it's too late. I wish I could give you a kudo.

Writing is what you do when you put pen to paper, being an author is what you do when you bring words to life
Thank you.

This is one of those stories.
That I keep going back and re-reading.
And I always need a few tissues each time.
