Salesmanship
I had an exclusive contract to sell this terrific product. The contract almost assured I would be wealthier than what I had ever dreamed. And, if I played things right I could pass the contract on to my kids.
I came out of the gates and grew my market share to a solid 43%. The only problem was I had to find a way to increase that share to 51% or I would lose my contract.
My plan was to work solely on keeping everyone of my customers who made up that 43%. To do that I had to work closely with some people who delivered my products for me. Those people were easy to keep in line because I had been given dossiers on everyone of them that would ruin them if they weren't loyal.
It seemed air-tight that I could maintain that market share and that my total sales would go up from $63 million four years ago to over $74 million this year. The only way I could lose my contract seemed to be if someone cheated me.
My personal attorney, a man known to everyone in the country, has assured me that if people cheat we'll take it to the courts. I've prepared for that eventuality by buying myself several judges in key positions.
In short, I can't lose. Daddy would have been proud of how strong I am.
In my spare time I've been learning how to play the fiddle.
