Into full on whining tonight, sorry. It's been 13 weeks of Quarantine and it seems a bit excessive. If I do go out for groceries, or to take a break, it is strict face covering, goggles, and head cover. Yikes, I look like a Saudi Arabian Niqab wearing woman. As it is for all of us, being isolated in my apartment can be quite wearing, but overall I have been doing rather well, aside from frequent Ocular Migraine Headaches. These are not painful but a bit incapacitating, they are.

Out of the blue, the VA has called me twice, wanting to get me seeing a counselor and to get me back on Psychotropic Drugs. So far, I seem to have a choice. I've done nothing antisocial, and had no contact with the Plod. After sundown, I am inside, with the door locked.

I've been off the Drugs since 2008, and have no desire to resume them.

I am a bit frightened, worried that there may be some legal basis for them to acost me. My God, I live the life of a Nun, full on!

Hey Gwen

Sounds incredibly crazy and/or Big Brother authoritarian.

I don't know anything about the VA. Do you have records like saying they stopped your treatment because you were fine? Do they have any local rep you could ask? Are you assigned to a local VA MD?

Can anyone reading on BCTS in the next few days help Gwen? It seems like there are many vets here.

Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee

They can't do it

No one can force you to take drugs without your consent in the U.S. without a court order which would be very rare. From reading your posts here I think you might benefit from seeing a councilor to help with a lot of unresolved issues but you can make it clear from the start that you are not taking drugs. I'd take a firm stand on that unless blood tests show a chemical problem that needs to addressed. In that case I would soon be an expert on that problem and the recommended treatment

Nothing wrong with being Transgender

My issue with it is that I had PTSD and was not Transgender. One endocrinologist later told me that it was a product of big egos and the drugs that put me on that path.
